How quickly does a tolerance to codiene build?

I've been doing AC&C extractions pretty much every weekend for quite a while now (I'm off heroin, but I still have a need to get the warm fuzzies, and right now this is my only option). I used to get a pretty good effect off of it, up until the last few weekends where I hardly get any effect at all. I was thinking it might be me changing my extraction methods, but I've tried the old way, and still no dice. I've tried increasing the dose, but I'm still only getting like half the effect I did before. It must be tolerance building, and I'm a bit of a hardhead to opiates to begin with, but I didn't think it would build this quickly, especially since I'm only dosing basically once or twice a week. So what do you guys think is going on here? Is it tolerance, or is something else at play here? I was thinking maybe the caffeine was killing the high, but why didn't that happen before?

Also, how bad for my health is doing these extractions? When I mention it to my friends, they think it's greasy (which it is) and that I'm killing my Liver/Kidneys. Especially because I usually drink at the same time. Is it time to lay off this poor man's opiate high for the sake of my health?
