Is 50mg of Codeine a lot?

Try more like 350mg of codeine and thats still not a lot... if you have any toler well, lets just not even go there lol.

If you have never used any opis before and do not have any natural tolerance whatsoever you might be able to feel something from 150-200mg... depends on person to person..

and it'd take aorund 90
0mg codeine to be equiv to a lortab i'd say... i dunno about the lortab 10s tho, but i'd say about 120mg codeine is equiv to a lortab 10, maybe a bit better but around there...

now theres a few folks out there who are VERY sensitive to opiates and opioids. Like i've heard of people getting some sort of effect from a single lortab 10 before! and some say they can feel something from tramadol and codeine mixed... so i guess it wont hurt to try and see! chances are you're not gonna get shit from the codeine though. I'd try and sell them vof 50cent to a buck to some HS kiddies if i was u and get something worthwhile, even some alcy lol

Any sort of tolerance though, and you're looking at 150mg to feel anything.

Protip: the best way to feel the codeine buzz is too lie down and listen to tunes.

Wow that would have to be someone COMPLETELY opiateh the naive like never taken them before or something of that nature.


Ceiling dose is 400mg, meaning u won't be able to feel anything higher than this as far as your buzz efficiency is concerned and also anything in that area or near that will cause intense itching because of histamine release and the reason that the ceiling dose is at that mg %age, is because codeine is a weaker analogue kinda derived from morphine in which your metabolism at the CPY4d6 enzyme breaks codeine downt to morphine but only by %10 and this is the max your body can handle being metabolized at one time. 450 or 500mg might add just a very little more than the 400mg. and since 400mg is pretty much the max CEILING all you will receive from this is a subtle, tad boost and a massive increase in antihistamine release meaning itching til your skin is rubbed off!

It's not very pleasant and recall eating 500mg during a withdrawal from a much stronger pharm addiction.

However the dose, it u exceed 250/300mg, make sure you have hydrocortisone cream and/or bendryl to counteract that histamine release causing mad itching. Glad to help bro

ive found that eating about 200 mg after drinking some poppy seed tea is VERY enjoyable. actually, it knocks me on my ass. but then again my tolerance is MUCH lower than it used to be.

Compared to a 5mg Vicodin, that 50mg of codeine isn't worth crap.

poppy seed tea contains many opiate analogues which is great because it's like a blissful opiate cocktail; morphine is one of these anlogues, hence a booster or sorts

i know, and you can imagine how happy i was to find that out after i had quit heroin for 5 months and was going crazy for ANYTHING.

Exactly,,,, well sorta, just because most of you have tolerances doesn't mean you shgould be rec'ng 200 + mg. 60mg will get an opiate virgin a nice buzz. Technically the 50mg codeine would be equivalent to 5mg morphine which WOULD technically be stronger than the 5mg vic, but euphoria-wise the vike is much better.

oh i didnt mean to give the impression that i was recommending that dose to anyone, i was just giving personal experience. now that i reread it tho i can see i should have phrased it differently.
