Default any other alternatives ?

Hi all I found this site doing some searching after I at a point where im tired from taking my meds
I have a crushed disc in my L4L5 vertabre (spelling) and bruised, also displaced a thecal sack and had it fused, It was from a car accident, after 3 years, i started become active and got super fit , virtually got down to 12 mg codeine and ibuprofen sort of painkillers was enough to keep the pain at bay, which I loved, 6 moths ago I had another car accident and put every thing back to the start again, more pain, little sleep etc etc, honestly id rate my pain 5/10 on good days 6.5 at bad days
at the moment my doc has me on 500 paracetomol/30mg codeine, I take 2 of those but its not really enough, so i added 2 ibuprofen +12mg codeine which seems to be a good level to keep the pain away, is there something in the market which would have 80mg codiene in it with minimal panadol or additional ingrediatnts, as taking pills every 4 hours is repetative depressing and bad for health

another question is I ran out of ibuprofen so i got some aspirin + codeine to have with the other tabs, but there are some different colour tabs in the same pack, some are white, some are a browny type and dont dissolve very well, very grainy, could anyone shed some light why there are diff colours in the same pack?

cheers for any help info

thanks,
i was wondering what is the next step up from codeine in terms of strenth as i tried a few calculators, and the next step up what i could find was 5mg oxycodone which was equal to 200mg of codeine, honestly that would knok me on my arse and id be gigling and shit id think, is there anything inbetween these 2?
I know im a lightweight but Im trying not to take heaps of stuff,

I just want to add, after looking at the forum, in my country there is no over the counter codiene paracetomol over 15mg , that is the max available in my country, i have to be scritpted for 30mg/500 codeine which sucks, there isnt even a 60mg tablet available here, i wish i lived in usa, i wouldnt have to pay doc fee + the meds, i could just walk into a pharm which is quite sad here

that's cool bro,
I just mean
so many people
can't get the meds
they want and need
from their doctors.
And with pain at 6.5/10
I'd be screaming for more
than just codeine

Hydrocodone. Honestly, with your pain, I'd scream for at least Percocet.

agree. If codeine is helping you, but losing its effectiveness, I'd jump to Vicodin (hydrocodone) 500mg's first. No need to skip steps while running up the opiate ladder of tolerance.

Happy Re: any other alternatives ?

Hey, how about Tylenol #4. That's 60 mg of codeine phosphate and 300 mg of acetaminophen. Or if Tylenol is not for you, Purdue Pharma makes Codeine Contin--a time released form of codeine. Try that, if codeine works as a pain med.

Oxy

If Dihydrocodone (DiHC- DF118?) is available, that's the next step up from codiene. It's below hydrocodone.

I'm curious what makes you think we have 120mg codiene available OTC in the US. We don't have anything like that. A very few pharmacies sell extremely low-dose codiene products OTC, but it's something I've never seen as long as I've been around. So, don't be jealous of the US, we don't have SHIT available OTC (unless it's a big secret)
