best way to take Kadian

Hey everyone,

Well the doc just perscribed a new one for me; Kadian. Never even heard of it before today. It's 30mg sustained release morphine in a capsule with about 20 tiny white balls inside of it. I'm sure I could just chew them up, but what would be the best way to do this.

I've also got 20mg oxys, as my doc is trying to see if this new medication will help negate the tolerance i'm building to the oxy. I usually take the stuff legit, but sometimes I just need to feel that rush. sucks being an opiate freak, but i'm sure you know what I mean.

Anyway, i've been on nothing but tramadol (granted about 1.5grams per day) for the last 10 days, so my other receptors are pretty much cleared out. Although I'm sure my Mu Receptor is good and fucked up for a while, I don't wanna rush into the new meds and waste my lowered tolerance. Any suggestions.

Oh, by the way, when I was perusing the pharmacists disclaimer docs on Kadian I saw something I've never noticed before on other opiate meds. Kadian is the first drug I've seen that specifically targets Cimetidine as one of the (avoid these drugs if using this medication), for all you non-potentiators out there, you probably know Cimetidine better as Tagamet, but I'm really surprised to see a potentiating medication listed as something to avoid. By that same line of thinking they should say to avoid Grapefruit Juice and DXM, I mean they all help to do the same thing, right?
