endo MS Contin 60mg (orange tablet-shaped)

When I got one of these yesterday I noticed they had an orange color throughout, so no way to remove the outside colored layer.

I feeling like experimenting so I crushed half, put it in a cooker and squirted 1cc of cool water over it

it gelled up real nasty, so i squirted another ~.5cc in and through a cotton filter in.

drawed as much as I could which was kinda hard with the gel, but noticed the syringe had no orange coloration in it.

anyway, squirted the solution in the syringe into a sterile measuring cup I like to use and proceeded...

added another ~1cc of water to the cooker and mixed the cotton around for a bit.

drew up as much as i could again (again a small amount) and tossed the first cotton.

After this I put another 1cc into the cooker and brought it to a quick boil after mixing the water with the gel-like solution still in the spoon.

after this I squirted about .5cc of cool water into the solution and the wax seemed to seperate from the rest of the gunk and I through another cotton in.

at this point it was getting easier to draw up the water. After getting it all filtered through the cotton I licked my spoon clean and rinsed it off real good.

I then put all the water I had collected back in the cooker and cooked it down to 1cc again and filtered twice more with cotton.

Now I had 1cc of completely clear solution with no particles in my syringe and proceeded to IV this.

It worked, and I'm not sure how much I lost but it felt pretty decent for only using half of a 60mg tab with my tolerance. (and obviously wasnt from just licking the spoon as it was felt only seconds after the injection)

anyway, thought I'd share my experience since I haven't seen many experience reports in this section with IV'ing these.

yea those can be a pain. i only do ms contin if i'm in a real bind... i put about 100 units to start with, heat it, and as soon as i take the flame off dump the powder in, then add another 50 or so units, usually i can get at least 30 mg out of the first shot.

assuming these break down like the blue 100's, try cooking with the intended amt whole maybe. although the crushing method works, swim believes it is too much work for nothing.

when kept whole, swim reported easy pill breakdown with assistance from the plunger after heating just a short time. no little floaties that dont form to the new shape the pill material has taken after its been altered/crushed before adding water. also dont have to worry about moving the material away from the solution when kept whole.

have read about some of the morph may get trapped inside the wax when heated. despite beliving there is some truth to that, see no other option if determined to iv these guys. anybody know of a way of prepping these w/o heat?

should be noted that swim is new the endo brand ms 100 mgs but has occasional access. he cant wait until further research can be conducted

I would only eat the Endo brands due to much frustration, but if you got a decent enough shot out of your method, congrats. ^_^

my 60 er are round and orange-"ish"---
are there any other makers (xanodyne has taken over and completely shit on the 30 ir---no other makers out there!!!) that anyone knows of, and izzere a marked difference twixt them?

I've never had the 60's but the green endo 30's were on of the easiest mscontins to IV for me.

I would just bring a little more then 1cc to a boil then drop the pill in. after a few seconds break it down with the plunger stir it up a little, then throw in the cotton and draw up. You have to do it before it cools down enough to start gelling. It was always a really clear solution but I'd usually filter a few times after that to try and get the slight green tint out.

With a little practice i got so the goop left after drawing it up was completly dry and rewashs even on 3 or 4 at a time felt like there was nothing in them.

I've also had a lot of practice IVing abgs and mallies if anyone needs any help, I had trouble finding guides on here for some of them.

edit- Poppygirl the mallie mscontin 60's are an orange peach color with a boxed M on one side and 60 one the other if thats what you were asking

well, yes and no--- just looking for comparison in makers of the 60 ers---and the drug itself---
xanodyne took a happy little pill and sucked the life right out of it...
just wondering if that has happened in the er family as well...

Around here all you can get is really Morphine, Hydromorphone, and OxyContin.

The Morphine is most plentiful. SWIM has been getting the 200's as of late. The Dark Green ones that look like the little 30s. They look like swamp water when he does them. He boils the water and has the pill crushed and ready to pour in once he is done. 200mg's of Morphine hurts SWIM pretty bad I can vouch for that.

This last time he got the 200's they were similar to the ones you just posted. He crushes them and adds water. He then heats them up until the mixture is fairly thin and can be drawn through cotton. He uses about 2.5cc's of water (enough for 2 people) and it comes out really nice.

The ABG Morphine's are best crushed up and adding about 1.5cc of water. Boil them until they are fairly thin and draw them straight from the spoon without using a filter. SWIM likes them second best only behind the swamp water Morphines.

Those things are horrible. I used to could get those but wouldn't IV them. Those are by far IMO the worst of the morphs. They would completely clog your sinuses if you tried to snort them.
