Default snorting subs long term

hey peeps.

I snort my subs. Although i only snort 2 mgs at the moment, i have been snorting them for months. Has anyone in a similar position gotten any adverse side effects, such as sinus problems.

thanks

Sometimes my nose gets clogged up a bit in the mornings, but i think that's cause i've been smoking more.

No seriously problems yet, once i got what i think was an ear infection, NOT sure if it was related but it's definitely possible. I had a really bad ear/jaw ache whenever i opened my mouth. Took some ibuprofen and antibiotics and it went away. Haven't had that problem since.

This is just theory-craft but i think the fact that they're sublingual tablets that dissolve completely helps make it easier on the sinuses.

this is something I've only seen in myself, but then again, not a lot of people around me sniff subs.

Back when I used to sniff them regularly, I'd get these almost pimple-like sores in my nose that would hurt for a week. When I stopped sniffing subs, they stopped happening. Take that for what you will, but if you experience anything similar, consider just taking it sublingually.

This is beside the obvious congestion and orange boogers.

I don't get high from my subs anymore. I did at one point. The 'high' wasn't anything notable beyond say, tramadol, but it was noticeable.

Mostly what happens now is I get more fucked up than I would have if I hadn't smoked bud/done benzos/other sedatives on top of my meds.

So basically like a combo-multiplier on my drug intake, as far as from a recreational standpoint.

When people don't do it often or just don't have a dependence on the drug, sniffing it makes effects come on quicker than if one were just to take it sublingually. A lot like oc's in that singular regard.

They've been helpful in chipping but it's a chore to taper off. You're rather lucky they always made you sick-it's like all the bad physiological parts of being addicted to dope, without a payoff.

I snort about the same amount. I get a stuffy nose, which is to be expected i guess. What I worry about is my lungs. That orange dust can't be good for them but neither is tar, nicotine, THC, etc. So if I didn't have those latter habits I would be able to tell if it was the Subs that cause me to cough and wheeze in the morning. I sound like a rusty screen door sometimes. The ladies love it.

2mgs is a lotta powder. I'd say a sinus infection is just a matter of time and in case you don't know, they suck/last for weeks.

Hey Shelley, i dont do it to get high, but to be more conservative. Must be the jew in me or something, but i just cant bring myself to take them sublingually, even when i was snorting eight mg.

A weird side effect that i think is related is a shit ton of orange ear wax has been building up in my ear. Like more than usual and it is pretty gross.

I have gotten a sinus infection before from snorting tar, dan. It manifested as a tooth ache cuz it was so deep in my sinuses that it was infecting my gums too. Dentist gave me some 7.5 vics and some anitibiotics. Discomfort was minimal, but id wouldnt like to try my luck at having another infection.

Do you suppose rinsing your sinuses with saline spray would mitigate chances of infection. Becuase i do that obcessively.

probably helps. try to keep all your sniffin paraphanalia super clean too. fyi, if you can get the sublinguil down just right it's actually even more effective than sniffin ime. I couldn't usually. my mouth just got too spitty but a couple times lying in bed with dry mouth I was amazed. fyi2 get off sub while you still can. long term is a bad idea.

I snort 4mg every 3 hours. supposed to help subside the pain, for I'm CP. I do get a buzz feeling which sometimes I enjoy and other times don't. As for any sinus problems,etc.. none. I don't always follow this regimen take less most of times. My PM dr. has me convinced subutex helps the pain... Dunno. I suffer from neuropathy and Degenerative Disc Disease. Read internet article claiming it is being considered for cancer patients in UK and other parts of Europe. Check out Wikipedia.

hey o-philes,been awhile since my last post but my input on this is-i have been snorting subs for close to a year now,2mg in the morning,2 later on and then 2 more at night.i have to say i haven't had any serious problems,i would have to agree with darhma bum about the lung thing worrying me sometimes but i always make myself believe that since they are sublingual, when they get into your lungs they dissolve and it wouldn't be that much moisture in your lungs at a low dose. of course everyone knows fluid build up in your lungs isn't a good thing but i have wondered for awhile now how much damage does it really do,maybe someone can answer that.
