Didn't know where to put this, and I hope it hasn't been posted....but I was browsing the archives of Rhodium and found some pretty interesting info....
So yeah, obviously most of us are going to have no idea what any of this means, but I thought it would be fun to post it and see if any chemistry majors or buffs might want to check it out. I won't post the actual info, because I don't know if that would be breaking any rules, so here is the link: http://www.erowid.org/archive/rhodiu...ymorphone.html Just wanted to see what ya guys thought of this. Any excitement for you guys that have been DYING to try Oxymorphone? Do you think this would actually be effective, etc. Also, there are a ton of other related material here: http://www.erowid.org/archive/rhodiu...try/index.html Scroll down to the opiate section...there is even a Codiene to Oxycodone conversion?! ![]() ![]() ![]() Have fun. Also, if this breaks any rules, please reprimand me, and delete this entire thread! |

No toxic chemicals are used? Lol at that; they are using methanol in the drying process. I recently ran a transesterification process using methanol to create a biodiesel out of coconut oil and let me tell you that stuff is FLAMMABLE to all hell, and once you start vaporizing it off it turns into a toxic gas that causes blindness (~148F). I also see Ammonia, acetone, etc. Sounds hazardous to run any kind of operation like this out of the kitchen, but it would most definitely work. I feel like you'd need expensive equipment to do it safely and to get a safe product.
Thats just the stoichiometric ratio of chemicals. You can reduce that amount if you reduce the other compounds an equal amount on a molar basis. |
