Is this codeine/cough syrup still good?
I was collecting recyclables the other day and I found half a bottle of codeine cough syrup and it is dated 2006................. You guys think it's still any good? I tasted a small bit of it and it tasted the same...looks normal too....it should still be "good to go" right? Or no?

I would've already drank it the moment I found it BUT I'm on Suboxone so I'm gonna save it fer dire emergencies....oh yeah if It was back in the days of my dopin' I woulda been like, " WHOOOO-HOOOOO" Chug-a-LUG !! So...thanx evvy body !! Just makin' sure.....

I don't know how much help it would be for suboxone WD's. Seems kinda weak. not sure.

if its the same stuff bottled, its okay.
just be sure that the original owner didn't store his paint thinner in there, or anything else. m f

its definitely still good. I've drank syrups I found in abandoned houses that were older than that and they worked quite well.
