Generic subutex has hit here

got my 4 generic subutex today off a buddy, there a little bit harder a little more binder but all in all not bad, here is a pic!

Awesome. I got a friend who's thinking about switching to subutex.
I here they're about a 1/3 of the price of the 8mg subs.
btw, the pic is really out of focus.

well i got off bupe at the wrong time.

wonder if they'll make some smaller dosages... and even smaller dosages.

I just hope they come out with a generic Suboxone soon, although I guess this would be a really legit reason to ask to be switched to Subutex (price wise I mean, it would be cheaper b/c now you can have access to a generic).

Anyway, I'm still on Subs, and to my surprise at my appointment a few days ago I got a 5-week script. I don't know if it's because the doctor was in a good mood, or because of the holidays, or if because he's thinking I'm makin progress or what, but instead of my usual script of 58 pills (a 29-day supply) I got 72 pills (a 36-day supply). I'm very happy about that, because it means more pills to save, but I didn't know if I"d be able to swing it at the pharmacy cost wise. Usually it's $330 and some change for a script for 58, whereas this script for 72 was $410 and some change, so eighty bucks more. Luckily I could afford it.

But, yeah, I'm SO GLAD they're coming out with generics now. I do releatively well on Suboxone as it is, and I imagine Subutex would be the same / even better. I can almost guarantee I wouldn't have the urge to shoot them. Did it once with the regulars Suboxones and it just wasn't worth the effort. Haven't done it since. So, if I could switch to Subutex and get the generics or if they came out with a generic Suboxone soon I'd be really really happy.

i was seeing a doc and getting 60 suboxone a month, well lost my job and couldnt afford the 200.00 monthly appt fee (not including pills) i had insurance then so it was no biggie, im hoping they dont come out with a generic suboxone soon because im thinking of going back to my doc, telling him ive been taking 2 subutex a day sublingually when i couldnt afford to see him anymore. and id mention the generic and see if he write me a script

Seeing as how subs are the worst drip i've ever experienced.

Im not sub guy Im on methadone what is the difference between suboxone and subutex? BUZZ wise? would the subutex throw ya into withdrawl like a suboxone would?

The difference between the two is that there is no naloxone in the subutex.
I don't think there is a difference buzz-wise. Just price-wise.

Subutex would throw you in to withdrawal as well because it's the buprenorphine that gives PW, not the naloxone.
