Greetings, has anyone else had these? I did use the m.f.s.e. and had no luck. I have been on the 30 IR's for eight months and normally get the Activis brand but this month got these Qualitest and think they are crap. My regimen consists of one 60 mg ER Purdue OC every eight hours and one 30 mg IR every three hours. I need three lumbar discs replaced and both hips replaced, but need to raise my copay amount of about $90 grand. The Activis brand
of the IR was great, worked quick did the job, but these Qualitest 30's don't seem to be even close to the effectiveness of the Activis. If anyone has any input on this please chime in. I do take my meds orally and on time, thank you~oxy-gen. |

I got these a couple of times a while back when the Actavis brand tablets were unavailable. I didn't notice any problems with potency compared to any other brand of 30mg IR oxycodone tablets.
Honestly it could be placebo effect...you are used to the Actavis tablets and weren't happy when you got the Qualitest brand, and that disappointment may play a role in the perceived weakness of that brand. Of course, some people swear that certain brands are more (or less) effective than others, but I have never experienced this in any significant way.

if it is any consolation, i think they are crap also. i had to double up my normal dose and still didnt get the relief i am used to. i would think to someone without a tolerance they probably work fine. but being used to mallincrodt, and actavis, (and having a good tolerance) the vintage/qualitest were horrible.
i know some people that think they are great, never understood it. i got them in march when the shortage was going on and could not believe how weak they were. |

I've never tried Qualitest but I will say that the oxy pills like the one in the avatar of the poster above me (I assume Activis) are the best oxies I've ever had. I prefer them to the 80's since I only need 20mg to get high and they just seem to hit harder than any other brand of oxy that I have tried. Damn I miss the days when I could get those.

Actavis sucks, IMO. Especially for IV.
Qualitest are the best for this ROA, again, IMO. Just my opinion...but most people I know refuse to buy/sell whatever, the Actavis, because the quality seemed to really have gone done since the plant opened back up. Back in the day, they used to be the end all be all, but now it seems the M's are. EDIT: I am prescribed 280 per month, and I NEVER have a problem finding them. If you are having trouble finding a pharmacy that will stock 240 pills, you must be going to some really ridiculous pharmacies that are against narcotics. |

This script was the first time I've ever had it filled with the Qualitest brand, dark blue with their V logo and 48|12 on the other side. and I really can't feel much from oxycodo, but my roxis are deff a good potentater fopr the fent and m'done and I can tell when I have them and when I don't. These qualitest V logo ones do indeed suck comapred to the Actavis and Mallis. MY fav brand of Roxicodone is by far Actavis. The Mallis are fairly good, MUCH better than Mallis other generic opioids... Actually the only opioid by Malli that I find of decent quality compared to the others is their Roxis...
and yeah there is a standard that all generics are to have the same amount of the drug as the brand name and all other brands... but I know for a fact that some brands contain a couple mg or mcg less. Like say the Malli brand Vic 10mg, they only really contain like 9.4mg or 8.9 or so. Most generics are never at the exact 10mg mark. Someone who has a friend or who has access to the proper chems and equip should test the actual opioid content of random CII narcotics and diff brands...to clear things up once and for all on the subject. It wouldn't be hard at all to do either, very simple and strait forward process if you have the right stuff. later

I thought the Qualitest 30's sucked also. I can often tell a difference between different brands.. maybe it's all in my head, I don't know, but I do notice it. Call me crazy, if you wish.

This is where your personal rapport and relationship with your pharmacist goes a long way. Don't forget about them this time of the year, the little holiday cash/gift pays for itself over the next year.
