zack5106 New Opiophile Join Date: Jun 2006 Posts: 4	first morphine Rx, 4g/day? To alleviate extreme pain, my rx prov has prescribed oral morphine, 1000mg four times daily. This seems a bit excessive to me, but he assures me I will adj to the side effects promptly. Ive taken codeine, hydrocoedone, and Tyl#3..but never morphine. Thanks, Zack
