Iiiiiight! Folks the codeine section is totally empty but I want to change this....I don't know if most pepole on here are into the whole "Purple Drank" Epidemic but its everywhere now pepole also call it
Lean,Sizzurp,Barre and Jelly etc etc but this Drink how it is supose to be contains Codeine/Promethazine but other RX'able dranks i.e Cheratussin,Robotussin A.C and alot of pepole like swim lovee using Tussionex (which contains hydrocodone) insted of codeine so basically like i said any RX liquids now after that you bash/crush up some jolly ranchers (for flavors sake) and the last thing you need is the essiental Sprite preferbally Sprite REMIX do not use coca cola or pepsi or anything else the only other drink that you could really use and not taste like shit is maybe Kool-Aid and thats it but Yeah so heres wikipedias info on this:

The most popular type of codeine syrup is promethazine-codeine, a Schedule V prescription cough syrup. The active ingredients are codeine, a narcotic, and the antihistamine medication promethazine, which is used in this particular mixture to counteract postnarcotic nausea[citation needed]. When taken in large quantities, both medications can lead to sedation and altered levels of consciousness.[1] The addition of these antihistamines are also added to deter abuse (in doses higher than recommended, effects produce extreme somnolence, weakness and may even cause fatal respiratory depression). In lower doses, these potentiate the opiates.
Prescription cough syrups containing hydrocodone are also used to make drank, though they are less popular. Songs like "Sippin' on Some Syrup" by Three 6 Mafia refer to Tussionex, a yellow cough syrup containing extended-release hydrocodone and chlorpheniramine (another antihistamine).[9] Other hydrocodone-containing syrups such as Histinex HC, Hycotuss, and Hycodan may also be used but have the addition of Atropine to deter abuse. Syrup also is made with over-the-counter cough syrups such as Robitussin DM, which contain dextromethorphan as the cough suppressant. Although dextromethorphan is used recreationally, it has dissociative effects as opposed to narcotic. Dextromethorphan, a synthetic morphine analog, has been on the market since the 1960s and acts as a cough suppressant when taken in small doses of 15 to 30 mg. In larger amounts it promotes a disassociative state with hallucinations similar to the effects of PCP or ketamine. There are about 100 varieties of this product, most containing dextromethorphan hydrobromide.
Promethazine-codeine contains 10 mg of codeine and 6.25 mg of promethazine per 5 mL.[10] Users ingest roughly 120-250 mg of codeine with this dose. Unfortunately, this means also ingesting a large amount of sedating Promethazine. When hydrocodone is substituted, the dose can be overwhelming at higher common doses, leading to vomiting and other mild opiate overdose symptoms(or Atropine overdose, commonly mistaken for opiate overdose).[citation needed]
The brand of the promethazine-codeine most referred to by the southern rap movement was manufactured by Alpharma Inc. and is a dark brown bottle with a white and purple label.[citation needed] In late 2005 Alpharma was purchased by Actavis,[11] which took over the bottling and manufacturing of all Alpharma medicinal liquids including the promethazine-codeine syrup. The bottle now has a red and white label with the Actavis logo.

Basically, This just was the long verison of my verison but hey codeine sippin is really popular in places Houston,Texas Where it orginated and all over the south now I know alot of you probally dont like rap music but this is where "Sizzurp" got big and lil wayne is addicated to it he wont stop sippin it so if you are wondering why hes always makin hot shit and his hustle is good all because of him and his "Drank".....But anyways this isnt about music its about "Lean"

I've never had codeine cough-syrup=------ I'm fond of narcotic cough syrups though---- I used to do tussionex whenever I could.... even as a kid I would gulp it down more than I was supposed to because it was so candy- sweet.....

I wouldnt mind trying some codeine-syrup, but it probably wouldn't be too strong due to my tolerance......

OPiate-cough syrups are nostalgic for me......

it's quite possible that there is nothing stupider than sizzuuurp. i don't have a citation for that.

Occasionally you still see codeine linctus otc in England.600 mgs of codeine for about $4.It's ok for wds,but apart from that...........


I'd rather have dihydrocodeine.Which can be easily bought otc,but needs cwe.

But yeah, it looks like the promethazine is the major sedative in "lean". How much codeine can a cup of drank really have? 40mg? That's like nothing.

Theres too many reasons why this sucks.

Here are a few of mine:

1. I like my dose all at once. I don't want to "sip" my buzz (unless its a CWE of course, and then I pound that shit).
2. I prefer stronger opies.
3. Codeine is not my idea of a good time.
4. Mixing soda, candy and cough syrup sounds pretty fucking lame and childish.

I got prescribed two 8 oz bottles of codeine/promethazine syrup once for a bad cough I developed my freshman year of college. They were supposed to last me like a week. But I guzzled them in like 2 hours and got pretty high

Then I still had a shitty cough for a couple weeks and couldn't smoke ciggs, it sucked.

The promethazine + opiate combo is good..

Whoa, Sorry if this thread topic is "childish" and sorry if it's stupid to some but its an epidemic an new way of getting high to many its what the *younger pepole/kids* are doing NOT hardcore opie heads like most of us ..as I stated in my OG post codeine is a weak weak drug ...yeah it would probally take 400ml for most of us to even "lean" and fall out but I just thought maybe some would learn something new about the use of codeine....I apologize to anyone offended by this thread and think its stupid.

I wish you could get dihydrocodeine OTC in the US. I don't think you can even get codeine OTC here.

And yeah, it took me two bottles to get sufficiently high, and this was back when I was taking like 30 mg hydrocodone here and there, before I really got into opiates. I'm sure it wouldn't do shit now.

No need to apologize. This has been brought up before, it just seems that it's a not big here. Go check out some of the other forums, hip, or way too many, you see alot of feedback on this.

Don't forget, most threads are purely based on opinion. When it comes to "sippin on some syzurp", I don't know shit from ass.

i tried some of the "lean" it really did nothing to me... waste of money, and lost all respect for the guy that turned me on to it.. And aat the time i had no tolerance, I had been on a break for quite some time... the sysurp sysucks
