IV USE of MORPHINE

OK me and the hubby just got in a huge fight once again about my using drugs by IV . He says I don't know WTF I'm doing or I wouldn't have gotten so many abcesses on my arms.(In the past I'll admit I have had more then my share) but mostly beacause at the time he had no idea I was doing it and the abcesses came from A sharp knock on the door i'd usually receive after spending WAY to long in the bathroom trying to hit a vein and him knocking the shit out of the door. Screaming "What are you doing in there huh?JUNKY?" which in turn makes me jump then I hurry and push he drug in whether it hurts or not,and it does burn like a son of a bitch.
So I had went to the pharmacy in a big chain dept.store and bought 1cc 30 gauge needles but they were short,therefore worthless to me,but I kept the receipt and today I changed them for the normal size 1cc 30 gauge needles and I come home and hit the vein first try.Now this is the only pharmacy in my state where I get this type of luck.Its not that I don't know how to IV.Its just the fact that I've been doing it for 5 years now and have hardly no veins left and also I can only use syringes from this store I don't know if its turnover or what?Have any of you ever experienced this?I mean for some reason even though I buy the exact same brand,same size same gauge same everything,but there is only one pharmacy with working rigs for me.I mean it seems like the rubber on the plunger is very lubricated and I also noticed when I pull the white cap off the top the plunger tends to stick a lil to the inside of the covers,so when I pull them out they tend to come out a lil with the cap.Does the freshness of the shelve quality effect the syringes we use or is it all in my head. I know it can't be because I have never got an abcess when buying from this pharmacy.
PS to anyone who is reading this and have a loved one you know is IV'g and you wanna help them out,THE WORST FUCKING THING you can do is bang loudly on the door,and rush them.This is very dangerous and we already know what we are doing is wrong .You all are just making it 100 times more dangerous for us and that goes for any IV of a drug not just morphine.HMMMMMM I feel better now.
