Custom Heroin Smoking Device aka Tooter

Whats up fellow opi's? I was wondering if those of you who smoke heroin or coke through a straw or tooter (ussually a pen tube) would be interested in a custom version. I'm thinking they would be made out of Aluminum for heat transfer purposes, cleanability (increased health benefits), and would look cool. You could pick from an array of colors, as aluminum is easily anodized. Your name or insignia of choice could even be embossed onto the tooter. No more arguing whose white BIC that is. Length can also be specified, however I would imagine most peeps use something 4"- 6" long, and they would be the diameter of a standard BIC pen tube, however that couild be customized as well. I was thinking they could be sold for $10 or so, unless you got hella extravagent. So my question to yall is: would you buy this? Is it worth my while to make some? Any and all feedback is appreciated, even if you think I'm nuts.

The main draw back is that you can unroll a foil tooter and smoke the residue.So,you'd appear to waste that using a custom made pipe.Plus it's never wise to have more paraphernalia than absolutely needed lying around.

Despite that,folks would probably buy them.Hell,folks buy personalised electronic ice cream cones,so why not.

I have used the glass ones myself and they are better imho than a pen tube. As far as recovering your dope from the tooter I like to use a few very small drops of water and shake the shit out of the tooter with a thumb and finger on each end of the tube for a minute or so then empty contents onto a fresh peice of foil. Evap any extra water with a blow dryer or low radiant heat then proceed to get down.

As far as the custom tooter I think I'll make a few and hand them out to my friends in the life. I was even thinking of giving some away to opiophile members, and let people try them out. Also I am trying to figure a way to make the inside surface of the custom tooter a bit porus or rough so it would collect more dope. That way if you are sharing it, you get to skim a bit of your buddies dope.

I do the exact same thing with my pen tubes. A lot of powder gets stuck to the inside. A couple drops of water, a few good shakes... but then I just suck it up my nose.

If you guys in the US started making your tooters out of foil, you'll see how much recycle you can save..

just fold a sqare of foil in on itself and roll from the opposite side, when you unravel the foil all your recycle will be inside the folds so you can collect the residue together and smoke ya blob....

I have used the rolled foil method, basically as youve described. I like it for the recycling purposes, but I am not gentle enough with it, as I always seem to dent, crease, or otherwise damage it. Even with heavy duty, and the ends folded in I am still too rough on it. Absolutely bang on for recovering your dope though. No making sure you use the right amount of water cleaning the BIC, or having to worry about scraping plastic out along with the tar. I dont know how bad inhaled plastic is, but Im sure Ive smoked a bit in my time.

With the custom tooter thing I was hoping to offer a cool accessory to my drug smoking companeros (home boys in espanol), increase harm reduction, and if possible make a buck or two.

Eventually I would really like to create a website that caters to drug users. Its main focus would be to make available items to better support harm reduction. Such as make sure people can order their needles, micron (wheel) filters, etc all in one place. it is utterly rediculous how many people in the USA cannot go into a pharmacy and simply buy new rigs. As far as I know the clean needle act, which was passed in the 70's (I think) federally mandates that it is completely legal to purchase syringes. However it seems that it is more up to the mood/ personal views of the clerk/ pharmacist if they will sell them to you or not. Absolute fucking JOKE.

While I am at it requesting the highly valued opinions of the opiophile members; what other products would you like to easily be able to order to make our lifestyle safer? Other than pharm grade amps of your DOC of course . Again, any and all input is mucho apreciado.

I will end this lengthy post by saying that Im not looking to make a shit ton of money, or anything even close to it. Increasing safety, and doing anything to decreae the stigma associated with drug use is a whole lot more important to me than making a few bucks.

Thats just about freezing mate, i think 32* farenheit is freezing and equal to zero * celcuis...Cold for us over here is about 15* celcuis in the day and it can drop to 2* or even go down to 1*, maybe even freezing, but thats unusual...

There is some website that has ready made foils and wheel filters for sale as well as works etc...I cant remember the name of it.Nick is proberly the best one to ask...There was a thread about it mths ago.
you have a good idea, but what worries me is that anything to do with the enjoyment of drugs in your country seems to be a red flag to LE.And that could lead to problems or at least put you in the firing line....

yeah s just about freezing here. I shoulda figured that was zero celsius. Im not too worried about legal ramifications from the website. At worst they would shut me down. I would not be selling anything illegal, and since the needle law is federal I wont have to worry about shipping them to a certain locality getting me in trouble. Basically if it aint a felony I dont care, or am willing to risk it I should say. Hell if I am able to help enough people, and the money is worth my possible jail time, Id still risk it. I use a pen tube and use a lighter to melt and smooth out the edges for comfort.
