What is the dosage range for a recreational dose of codeine? Just wondering because we will be going into Canada next week on family vacation. Thanks!

You know it all depends on one's tolerance. Nobody can really answer this question for you without knowing what your tolerance is like.

But, if you don't have a tolerance to opiates, and a couple 5/500 Vicodins can get you feeling good, I'd say 60-90mg of codeine will work well.

I have this mental conversion chart I've collected over the years just from my personal experience. I remember back when I could get high from 10mg of Hyrdocodone, 2-3 Tylenol 3's would have me feeling a nice buzz.

I don't have access to any opiates so my tolerance should be low. I plan to buy 8mg codeine tablets in Canada and do a CWE. So, based I what you say 10 tablets would be a good start.

Yeah, that should have you feeling pretty good. I'm sure there are people here that would suggest you start lower but, trust me, 80mg of codeine isn't going to hurt ya'.

Remember too, that you're going to be getting the caffeine with an H2O extraction on those Canadian 222's. In my experience, the codeine counteracts the stimulating effects of caffeine so it isn't much of an issue.

It would only be 150 mg of caffeine. I can handle a couple cups of coffee.

I also heard of a caffeine extraction on this site. If I remember correctly the caffeine will precipitate out of the water in water that is 88 degrees.

I think what was said is that water at 88 deg. can hold A lot more codeine than caffeine in solution. So, if you dissolve as much powdered 222 as possible, the liquid will contain much more codeine then caffeine or APAP.

So that would be 15 and I don't want to waste them since I will never get them again. How many come in a bottle? I think somebody said 200 and you can legally bring 2 bottles back into the states. That would be 400 * 8 mg = 3200 mg / 100mg = 32 doses. That's enough to get hooked I bet.

This is correct, temperature and volume are key in minimizing the amount of caffeine dizzolved in the water, there is a way to extract the caffeine using lighter fluid or nafta gas, but you need to be somewhat of a chemist. Not really worth messing with for a little extra codeine.

If you UTSE you can find the exact numbers as to how much water to use and at what temperatures to capture maximum codeine with minimum caffeine.

Some may disagree with me, and I welcome different opinions, but I wouldnt be worried too much about getting hooked on codiene. You may get a bit of a mental craving, but I bet physical dependence would be slim to none.

Disclaimer: YMMV: I've never got anything out of T3's myself. I could pop 8 of those MF'ers, and feel nothing. (But that was with a Hydrocodone dependence, but only about 4-6 Norc's a day.)

If you're CWE'ing, you shouldnt have too much to worry about.

From WIKI:

"The recreational dose of codeine is between 60 mg and 400 mg; the liver cannot metabolize any more than that amount at once. This is also the reason for which the entire dose should be taken at one time and at least two hours allowed between doses."

Another way to get most of the caffeine out is to use the syringe method of cwe, it;s in the codeine section of the site, a lot easier than trying to get to an exact temp.

I take 90 mg codeine recreationally once a week, then if I get really bad headache, or back ache or depression I'll take 60 mg codeine. 4 hours after the first dose I'll usually take a booster dosage of 60 mg codeine. But I really don't like taking it more then once a week, or my recreational dose isn't as good.

I've been doing this since late last year, and I've kind of got used to my 90 mg dose, but the past 3 times I've taken it, I had 5 mL Nigella sativa seed oil first. And although it gives me minor nausea, it boosts the codeine to the point that I feel completely satisfied with 90 mg codeine again.
