comparable amount Codeine

Does anyone know how much Codeine would be the same as around 20 mg's of hydrocodone? Say it was the weak 8'mg type you can get from Canada, around how many of them. I tried the extraction method once but it did not seem to work. Maybe I did not do this correctly but I guess I need to know how many also.

if you post the exact procedures of what you did, for sure we will be able to help you with what went wrong and how to fix it! but answers like this absolutely require the details on the steps which have already been carried out

some people lack the proper enzymes levels to sufficiently convert codeine to morphine in the liver, same goes for hydrocodone, so while comparison charts on relative strengths of opiate may apply, they may also NOT apply to the individual.

take note.

I get a more favorable, longer lasting effect from codeine than I do hydrocodone.

Would tagament or white grapefruit juice make a difference with the codeine? It worked for SWIM with the pods.

I am not sure the amount of water to codeine I used but I melted the pills in some water, then put them in a cold water bath for about 1/2 hour, than strained it thru a coffee filter. Is the white gooey stuff left in the filter the apap? I did not want to sqeeze it because it pushes that white stuff thru the filter a little. I used around 30 pills. I think I looked off directions on-line somewhere.
Does that sound somewhat accurate?

you should have had at least 200 milligrams of codeine in that water solution.

some sources claim that 200 milligrams of c= 20 mgs of M.

so if you had a pod habit at the time of trying the codeine solution you may have had too large of a tolerance to notice the codeine's effects much.

some people cant even feel codeine, or are allergic to it.

for me personally 100 milligrams of codeine is a good dose, I usually take 30-60 milligrams at a time.

I am not quite solid on the mechanics behind grapefruit/tagamet potentiation, but some people claim that it only potentiates morphine and some other opiates, and that it actually INHIBITS codeine and hydrocodone enzyme conversion to morphine.

I'm going to stick with 100mg's the first time to see how I react to it. Tolerance isn't a problem for me. That makes sense that tagament or grapefruit juice would inhibit the natural process of the liver breaking down the c into m. It may have been on this site or another where I read that only 10% of the codeine taken orally is actually processed by the liver. I'm sure that would vary from person to person like it was stated above. I don't take very many pharms like I used to. They are kind of a treat for me when I get them. I still love exploring different substances, but really don't get the opportunity very much anymore. I used to be in the Dead then Phish scene for quite awhile. Now when I go to shows, since I cut my hair, people think I'm a cop or something, which sucks. Shakedown street isn't what it used to be...lol
