Just drank old used CWE codeine + APAP. Help!

I'm in withdraw and had the left overs from previous extractions of codeine and APAP. They were left out in the air dry for 2 months now. The powder was white.

When i was starting to drink the resulting CWE i've noticed the taste was quite different and just threw away the rest.

I'm now withdrawing and thinkinh that mayybe the paracetamol has turned/degraded with time into something more nasty that is more water soluble.

Should i go to the hospital? I'm worried as hell, cause i'm withdrawing too.

I really doubt that it changed into anything that will hurt you. About how much APAP was in this mixture? 4 grams is the daily limit. I'm sure you'll be fine but if you are worried you should go to the hospital.

how exactly would you explain to the hospital what the fuck a CWE is and why the fuck you are doing it.

Well this is true. But if he is that worried about it; going may put his mind at ease. Like I said, the worse that happened is that he drank a bunch of APAP. It's not like a tetracycline antibiotic or something that becomes poisonious over time.

If you did the CWE right, there shouldn't be any APAP (edit: hardly any). I actually let my solution dry out once before too. It left a white powder at the bottom of the jar. I assumed it was codeine only and mixed water in and drank it last month when I was kicking... it was 4 yrs old! I didn't feel a thing, bro, unfortunately. But on the bright side, I also didn't feel sick or nauseated over it either. You should be fine, but like the good medical professional, Roxi, said... see a Dr. if you deem it necessary. No harm in being safe

I left the CWE solution to dry out once and accidentally forgot about it for a few months. When I found it again the whole bottom of the cup was all dark brown and creepy looking. I just threw the whole deal out.

If you did the CWE correctly the second time around you should not be in any real danger. If you think you are, get thee to the doctor. That would be a fun one to explain. Well....you see.....I crushed up all these shitty codeine pills.....because I am allergic to APAP (typical junkie reasoning)....... then I used a coffee filter.....then I left them in a closet for 2 months......I was sick so I mixed it up again and drank it......now my eye is twitching and my hands are blue..... can you help me doc?

I was getting a little worried and went to the hospital, but first i went to see my dealer for not beeing in WD while waiting at the hospital.

I went and told about the CWE (i was red flagged allready..) and they didn't shit. Not even blood sample was taken, it was just talk. They said that i was symptom free, and that i should be fine.
I real regreat going to the hospital, they didn't do shit and i got more red flagged even..

After beeing with my H dealer i started to calm down and started thinking that i'm going to be ok. Hope so..

I did some research on paracetamol degration products and came up with these substances:

- 4-HYDROXYACETANILIDE - Toxic but low solubility in water too. [Water Solubility: 1-5 mg/mL at 72° F (NTP, 1992)]

- 4-ethoxyacetanilide - [1g dissolves in 1310 ml cold water,]

- 3-hydroxyacetanilide [Not liver toxic].

It seems that this are the primary substances to what paracetamol degrades into..

Its always a good idea to ask before you do it. I am glad your feeling okay and that you were at least able to get out of withdrawals. Got to suck, though, wasting a nod in the ER. Be safe!

I don't nod anymore, at least without shooting, and that's pretty rare these days. But wasting the feeling normal/well that i got from smoking it in, wasting that at the ER kinda sucks.


Yes, you are right about asking before, but i wasn't expecting nothing but a regular CWE. The taste its what trigger the difference and panick.
There must have been around 20 to 30 grams of paracetamol on those used powder. But i filtered it twice. So that must be ok, i think.,..

My first batch of poppies has arrived! Yuppie, no more paracetamol with codeine for a while. I needed it so badly cause if i continue to use H i'll be living on the street soon...
