Yeah, if you can't obtain a pill-crusher, I just always used a hammer. I placed a sheet of copy paper (folded in half) over the desired pill and applied the hammer. Works great for amphetamine salt (Adderall). The orange 20's (of Adderall) are too much to snort at one time, unless you want your heart to explode.

Yeah, I love the hammer at home... although it is a little impracticle to carry around at all times. It could double as a weapon though. lol I don't have experience with the little balls in capsules, but OC's... You should see the chunks I'd snort when I was in a rush and did a piss poor job of crushing. I'd crush up 4 80's while driving and have 1/16ths of a pill running out of my nose. Waste, I know... Its just funny to think back about it.
