alb123 Occasionally Opiated Join Date: Aug 2009 Location: Massachusetts Posts: 19	Drug Screening - Morphine/Heroin There was a discussion I overheard the other night... The subject was drug testing and while I know something like oxycodone can be differentiated from something like morphine, the people were saying that morphine & heroin can not be tested independently. Is that true? When a drug screening is performed can they determine whether or not heroin was used versus morphine or vice-versa? Or do both trigger a positive result for morphine? I was always under the impression that heroin metabolizes into morphine. As you can see, I am certainly no expert... Thanks!
