Neat Design for Dexmethylphinidate Tablets

The maker of Dexmethylphinidate wins the award for making a "retro" looking pill. Swim just got a script of 5mg. tabs and they are shaped like a "D" and have a "D" impressed into them with "5" on the other side.

For some reason it brings back memorys of the diet pills from the 1960's.

Is Dexmethylphinidate similar to Methylphinidate? I'm pretty sure that Methylphinidate is ritilan, am I right? I never heard of it with "Dex" in front. What name is the drug marketed under?

Don't quote me on this, but I'm sure it has something to do with the difference in adderall and vvyanse. Dextroamphetamine and amphetamine salts. Has to be related. There coming out with all these "anti abuse" drugs now-a-days.

Yeah I'm coming from the same place you are. I used to do a lot of those things, like ritalin and adderol. Then they came out with concerta and the anti-abuse ones that suck. I'm betting that this one is "anti-abuse" as well.

It is D-methylphinidate -- Ritalin is DL Meth--.

I am a big fan. Its supposed to be twice as strong as Ritalin, but for me its more like 3 times as strong. I prefer it to Adderall, etc.

My doctor scripts it for daytime sleepiness caused by pain meds.

Brand name is FOCALIN and I have always had the 20 mg. time release capsules. The doc thru in some 5 mg. IR's this time along with the time release.

The purpose of this med. is to reduce or eliminate some of the side effects of Ritalin. They believe that the side effects are caused by the L-methylphinidate, so by taking it out, it reduces the side effects. It is NOT a drug developed for anti-abuse properties. The L-methylphinidate supposedly has no stimulant effects, but causes some of the bad side effects.

I get "prescribed" to me the 20 mg. capsules extended release. I crush the balls up and snort. They are kinda sweet like orange adderral but focalin is quickly become on my favorite drugs. That name "Focalin" is perfect because yo damn sure do focus. I never got to try the instant release ones, Sometimes she has the 5 mg er ones for "nightime". I think it is a very fun drug, no crash for me to speak of....except maybe wanting weed.

So, what you are saying is that Ritalin is a mix of Dex and Levo Methylphenidate. And that the L-meth is what causes the undesirable side-effects while D-meth causes the nice Euphoric stimulant effects?

Well, it sucks to be me then.

When I was younger I spent years abusing Ritalin as a stimulant. But it felt great for about an hour or so, and for the rest of the entire day I felt like complete shit! Much worse than how I'd feel after some Dextroamphetamine in the morning. Thinking back, it was a real fucked up time in my life. Uncomfortably geeked out on that shit all the time... Ritalin felt like such a dirty stimulant. Not that it stopped me...

I'd really like to try Focalin. I bet it wouldn't be so bad... I wonder if there's any way I could act my way into a script?

It's nice, though not as nice as my personal favorite... Tafil 2mg which is a Danish extended release version of Xanax. I'm pretty sure it's the same pill as you have in the states though, imprint and all.
(Not all Danish pills have imprints. The majority of benzos and morphines here have NO imprint at all!)

My favorite capsule of all time HAS to be Pallodone 24mg, which is an extended release version of hydromorphone. The gorgeus deep, deep blue colour, the mysterious looking little granules of goodness peeking out of the transparent half. Looking at this capsule is as good as eating it!

Are you guys saying there's a generic now? My son is on the 20mg Focalin XR capsules and the shit is $400ish a month. I had asked about a generic a couple months back and was told there wasn't one.

I didn't know there was an instant release Focalin like DharmaBum mentioned - I thought by definition, it was extended release. Hmm... Or are you just saying there's an instant release dexmethylphenidate?
