I found out the hard way, when I was sleeping on the floor in a shelter. They had one right outside the window, and at 4 in the morning, some junkie had just put his last coins in it, and found out that it didn't work!

lol! Sounds like a scene from Futurama! Where the junkie's putting his coins into the crack dispenser, and as the vial is coming out it gets stuck. He hammers on the machine and says "Come on, man! Don't hold out on me like this!" while sliding to the floor.

I feel for the dude in real life though. Ouch, that must have been painful.
