What's with "m'done" Is that cool now, or is it too fucking hard to write four letters more? Has the price of posting pr. letter gone up without me noticing, or has the government rationed them or something?

Yeah I just needed to know if the subs wouldn't be a good idea because I've heard things about Methadone staying longer than it should. I was just abit clueless and didn't want to feel worse.

Subs three days after methadone = PWD. Stretch the norcos out. I'd wait at least 5 days in between methadone and Suboxone, if you were on more than ~60mg, wait longer.

I guess it's because they call "methadone" "'done" on the streets here. Where I used to live, where there were more clinics, it was pronounced "methadon," as in "methadawn." I've never heard of "meth," as in methadone instead of of methylated alpha-methylphenethylamine, outside of the internet, aka opiophile.

def take the norcos and enjoy yourself before you switch to the sub.

i dont know if u are taking a break or trying to quit entirely, but either way, the suboxone over a long period will fuck up your tolerance and i can honestly say that a entire bottle of norcos or percs, etc will not even get me nodding these days, almost 4 years into a 12mg/day suboxone maitence.

i plan to stay on for life most likely......now if there became a new "suboxone" or a easier way of getting methadone similar to subs, i may switch, but i never see myself or my life opiod-less as i go crazy without them......im an addict, no need to sugar coat it you know.....


if i would have had the willpower to quit dope on my own i probably would have without the subs help in retrospect, as to dabble back into the shit again would be much easier, but now its one of those things i am sort of stuck with my decision and cant really get high off most opiods unless i come off sub for a lil and do dangerous high doses......then go through being sick to get back on the sub for a day or two.....

sorry to ramble, dont know why im sounding like i may be trying to sway you away from the sub, as it is great for helping you get clean and live your life.....i just had one of those days where a vacation would be much appreciated!

See I can't just quit, my body has to have some sort of opiate in it or I just end up back on the shit. Sexualhealing I understand what you mean completely, I'm an addict and without some sort of hold-me-over I just end up throwing money away and back on dope. I'm saving the norcos until I go to my suboxone doctor next friday so I have a dirty test and he lets me in.

i hope everything works out for you man..... i feel like i really wasn't encouraging anyone to get on suboxone by what i was saying, but its really something that i feel if you have even the slightest chance of getting off of your DOC without it, i would reccomend trying.


you however sound like myself in that we just need that opiod on our receptors.....probably a lack or low amount of indenginous ones in our brains...

i am a very pro suboxone person despite the previous post, as it has saved my life.

its just something that i think most people jump into without thinking through as much as they should as it usualy ends up being a lifelong type of thing, or if not, people end up using again.


i am slightly nervous about the long term effects of this drug and i will be one of the guiena pigs who gets to see them first hand as i NEVER plan to get off my sub. almost 4 years into it and i wont even consider a doseage drop....lol.

im glad you read what i was saying though as it def isnt a decision to take lightly and there are and will be some negetive consequenses down the road, not legally or anything really, but the fact that the "ONE" day you decide to get high whilst on the subs, you will see just how frustrating they can become.

id have to say its why i havent relapsed as much as others i know but its like always going to be in me to want to shoot dope, plain and simple. but i know i cant, so subs are the best alternative for me to legally obtain.


as for your norcos, my doc did not piss test me when i first went in for induction, i dont know if many do on day one....but i dont think having opiods in your system is a requirement for getting the sub treatment....its more like just saying you have a habit and wallah, you are given sub.

i didnt even do induction as it was snowing and i drove over an hour to get to my doc and my mom came along and brought the subs i had been taking for the past few days after i stopped my gram + a day h habit cold turkey and she actually was letting me take my oxys for the first few days she saw me withdrawing (i waited over a week to get in to my doc)....she basicly took all my other opiods which included subs/percs/oxys and when she saw how sick i would get she was just like oh my god how many of each do u want, lol.....

then a couple days into it as the stash disappeared i explained the orange pills to her and looked them up online to show her this was what i would be taking at the doctors and she got me started on them...lol...

doc asked what i took, how i felt, told me to up the dose considerably, and come back in a month to check in. man feels like only yesterday.


anywho, good luck man....and do the norcos when you need, no point making yourself sick while youre waiting to get clean.....enjoy while you can my man!

Hey man I really appreciate the kind words and advice, it's hard being a young junkie with only a few close friends who know and an ex who you shared said habit with.
I mean everyone says to me "Tyler, why can't you just stop? Its not that hard, I quit smoking pot!" To which I say, I can quit and go through the agony but I never feel normal again until that next dose or I get help.. I think I may end up a lifer aswell because in my few short years of life (I'll be 19 next month) 4 of those have been spent chasing a high and blowing my hard earned money on it. Most people around my town are pill heads, lets face it..

Its FLORIDA, so very abundant here. But of my little community of friends smoke pot or drink, just the small few who are like me. They don't truly understand what its like not to have dope in your life, everything is different and not a good different.

But I will try and enjoy myself these last couple days, Ive been down the sub road before and know how boring it can get, but this time I'm committed and it helps not having a doctor prescribing me roxis because they lost there suboxone license to the DEA anymore.

From personal experience, it depends on the doctor whether or not you have to piss dirty. My new suboxone doctor didn't require me to, my old one did. I actually had some suboxone and asked new doc if it would be all right to take that before even coming in my first time. They had no problem with that.

I'd get the specifics about it from your doctor.
