heres the back of the shirt.
the logo on this design is the same as the logo on the front.

basically an alchemical mess.
some symbols related to shiva, soma, healing gourd, etc.

the photo of the poppy seed is actually a photo of a fossil poppy seed.....one of the oldest peices of evidence that links early human use of poppy seeds in europe.
taken from the book
"on the trail of the ancient opium poppy"

this is a charcoal drawing I did when I was a doper.
sold it at an art show...
and shot the proceeds up.

too bad.

all I have is a few crappy photo copies of a crappy photo from the person who bought it.
(thanks Ryan!)

still, it could make it on the back or front of a tshirt someday.

or maybe this would make a better sticker/patch?

the drawing was of an old antique syringe of Billi's he let me borrow.
I threw it on my old mans vice.

da vice device.

front
heres the next shirt design to be printed.
on black shirts.

00000034.jpg (99.1 KB)
back, unfinished design
this is an old block print design I came up with a few years ago...from an original design I came up with in 87.
the shirt version of this design will have a very small svastika in the very middle of the cross of the bones. the skulls will be worked into the same mandala frame that the front desing has.

for a cliche skull and cross bones design, I have always liked it.
I will never get sick of the skull motif I dont think.

this shirt would look good as a longsleeve as well.
perhaps with the morphine structure, and pods growing all down the sleeves.

my goal is to within the next year...
have all of these designs on shirts.

and keep all designs on stock.

right now we only have 1 style of shirt avialable.

there is a place where I can get decent hoodies for pretty cheap. I am thinking that if I get enough feedback, we could start doing some limited hoodies, baby t's etc.

patches and stickers and other cheaper promo items are a given.
I am looking into having patches printed alongside shirts.

getting a stitched opiophile patch would be nice too, but more expensive than we can go into now.

I think we also need to, after these shirts are printed...is get a simple, low key, opiophile shirt that maybe has opiophile in small print, smaller than people can see from 10 feet away...
with a large opi or similiar shortened version of the name displayed.
OPM
OPI
another opiophile came up with the opi idea.

and maybe one with just OP
and GOM on the back, with (GODS Own Medicine) on back

a shirt that isnt so transgressive....or dark, or as out in the open.

my father in law made me a couple of shirts...one fancy bowling shirt, and a regular tshirt, that had the opiophile logo very small on the chest. like any regular logo.
what a nice guy.
anyway, the screen for that is so simple, that I might talk him into printing up some more.

thats about all the plans for now.
after I have gotten my styles and artwork printed up, once these catalog items are realized...
I would also like to investigate having other opiophiles work on promo products.

well see how far having more t-shirt designs brings in donations,...and if it actually increases people wanting to contribute, to have access to a brand lable essential that that many people have access to.
maybe if we could get Woody Harrelson to wear our shirt just for a few photographs, or Madonna, or Rush Limbaugh, we would get alot of donations rewarded with shirts?

also, paragoric kids avatar makes me consider a nice, cheezy, dayglo sid vicious commemerative shirt, of the shot of love variety.
