Hi all you fantastic people in here!
Today I finally realised what a swim was after reading the forum rules and know I can't stop thinking how stupid I was before... But anywho, on to the business...: SWIM bought 10 "Bromam 6 mg"(bromazepam) pills yesterday and tried one orally without any real effect. SWIM has beforehand done a few different pills with SWIM's best friend, who gets a lot on prescription, and after doing methadone a few times and oxazepam(on two different occasions i.e. not at the same time!), SWIM found that he's got a natural high tolerance to atleast opiates but to some degree also benzos. What SWIM is looking for, is the best starting dose recreationally for the bromazepam? With SWIM's friend he's done 30 mg oxazepam without any effect. And that was his second time ever doing benzos, so you can see his natural tolerance is pretty high. SWIM's friend can feel 15 mg of the oxazepam she is pesribed. I know all of this is somewhat all over the place, but I hope you understand my question. And this is my first post, yay! (I just saw, that it wasn't :-( ) |

6mgs of Bromazepam equals to about 30mgs or oxazepam or 10mgs of valium..
I do enjoy this benzo, its pretty much like valium but without the body load and heavy sedation that you get in high enough doses of diazepam. If 15mgs of oxazepam gets you there, start by taking half a pill, or 3mgs of bromazepam, its just as equal, but the effect is different. If you took one and didn't feel it its because you were expecting something different, like i said it doesn't have the body load of other benzos. Its more like a clean benzo, you get a clean head high that don't have allmost any bodyload/intoxicating effects.. works well for anxiety but not so good for insomnia, In high enough doses its a very good benzo high, if such thing exists.. Its definatly one of my favorite benzos. Just keeping up the dose until you find it enought. don't up the dose more than double (100%), but i advise upping by 50% more than the last turn. I can feel 6mgs without any benzo tolerance, in fact i can even feel 1.5mgs of bromazepam without any tolerance, but hey we are all different... EDIT: Don't mix methadone with benzos if you are kinda benzo naive or even methadone naive too... The combo its one the most common cause for drug related deaths.. |

Here is Wikipedia's Benzo Equivalency Chart (it's fairly accurate):
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_benzodiazepines The first part is for classical / pure benzos. The last part is for benzo receptor ligand agonists, but aren't technically benzos (i.e., Ambien, Lunesta, etc.). Like DCBA said, Bromazepam 6mg is equal to 10mg Valium. Basically the chart lists all the benzos / or at least the popular benzos, and gives their equivalencies in terms of 10mg Valium / diazepam. It also includes half-lives for both the parent compounds and the metabolites, and whether they're more useful for anxiety (anxiolytics) or sleep (hypnotic), and even anti-convulsant and muscle relaxant properties in some cases. I take 3mg Clonazepam / Klonopin a day, which according to the chart would be 3mg Xanax / alprazolam, or 60mg Valium / diazepam, or 6mg Ativan / lorazepam, or 30-36mg of Bromazepam according to the chart. But, it all depends on the effect you want, what type of benzo you're using, and what your tolerance is. We don't get Bromazepam scripted in the US, so I've never had it, but I've heard from others that it's a very very good benzo. Basically, here, we get Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin, Valium, or Librium. Those are the big 5 in the US.
