Question regarding diphenhydramine (Benadryl)?

Not sure if this is the right spot for this really, but here it goes.

I take anywhere from 150 - 300mgs of diphen every other night or so. This is based on a few factors. First, if the H I've got isn't the greatest quality I'll take more. Next, if I have a little amount of dope I'll usually take more too. Lastly, I will take AT LEAST 150mgs for the nod. If I have a good nod going on, I will just some anyway so that my euphoria/nod is enhanced,

Anyway, the question is does this combination of drugs make anyone else really twitchy? I get mad muscle twitches from this, even at the lower doses.

Or could it be just diphen makes you twitch? Cause I haven't really experienced this on straight dope.

diphen can make rls worse, esp in the doses your taking. I sometimes twitch into and out of a nod, more like that sudden "IM AWAKE" like if you ever got caught at work/school sleeping and jumped up, haha. But yeah i know what you mean, and its prob the rls from the diphen

Oh my word, yes, it does make RLS worse. It tends to make me incredibly antsy and jittery and I wish I could take it, but if I do, I will be ready to jump out of my own skin. Most antihistamines tend to do that to me, actually. In fact, I had a dystonic reaction to one antihistamine once, which surpisingly, they use benadryl to reverse that particular type of reaction. I've had 3 dystonic reactions before and they are incredibly unpleasant. If you ever have episodes where your body is seriously locking up on you and not just cramping up and you're frozen in distorted positions and your tongue gets stuck hanging out of your mouth and you feel the most intense terror of being able to control your body in any way whatsoever, go to the ER right away. Seriously. It's a terrifying experience, but easily reversed. I am not sure how often this happens to people, but I pray you might never experience this.

Diphenhydramine has the potential to have the opposite effect when taken in large doses.

I also use Diphen daily to "enhance" my opioids ane benzos... But never do I exceed 100mg at any one dosage.

I have found that using more than 100mgs of the stuff, causes me to become restless. Like you mentioned, twitchy... And that's not a very relaxing feeling. Not at all...

Maybe keep it at or under 100mgs, see how that treats you... My brother swears by using Diphen and DXM in unison for good results. But I just simply can't do DXM. Maybe you'll like it. Try it out....

Good dog man, that's a lot of diphenhydramine! I usually take between 50 to 75mgs, any more and I'm squirming like a toad.

Yeah, I get the unisom 50 mg capsules and usually take 3 to 6. I have a really high tolerance for it I guess, but I was laying with my girl after sex last night and I kept twitching and shit and she was really concerned, lol. Thanks for the responses though guys. I will probably just try 2 50mg diphens tonight.
