PriCara Patches 2012

I'm prescribed 50mcg/h PriCara patches with 8.4 (wow!) mg per patch. How do these compare with Mylan and Sandoz patches?

Advice on best way to use them bucally?

How do these rate on the "abusable fent patch" scale?

If anyone has experience and/or advice with these, please share.

I did use the search engine (google), and the last post pertaining to this brand of patches specifically was in 2010, so I figured it warranted a new thread.

Those are actually the name brand Duragesic patches. They have the most fent of any brand. Mylan are horrible in comparison. Sandoz are the authorized generic, made on the same production line as the name brand ones you are getting now.

You are getting what i think are the best non-gel patches and the gel are really only better if you want to inject or smoke.

WHen I use buccally, i tend to put a piece under my tongue and then rotate it to between cheek and gums. Cannot say it works any better or worse, but SL absorption is good.

BE CAREFUL! Lots of people are found unconscious in wrecked cars with patches in their mouths and shit like that. So again, BE CAREFUL!!

yeah, I had to take it out of my mouth after about an hour. I'm very satisfied with these patches. It's quite an improvement over the awful Mallinckrodt patches.
