If you were truly concerned with HR, you wouldn't let a bitchy attitude get in the way of conveying helpful infomation. If you're right and someone tells you you're wrong, it's better off for you to provide information on why your response was the 'correct' one, not to belittle the other users response. Even if 'they started it'. Your heart may be in the right place, but wen you come off with an attitude like you're all knowing and anyone who disagrees with you is stupid. No one listens then, and your message means nothing.
