Shady pill dealers, what do you think?

So when dealing with pills on the black market, we all know there are few standards. There are people that are legit, people that smoke crack and are shady as fuck and everything in between. For the most part, unless you have a solid relationship with said person, then it is always a gamble.

Background: Friend is referred to person. He has a legit reputation in the neighborhood. Everything goes good for awhile. The only thing is, he likes money up front for product. You give him money and when the script day rolls around, if you put loot up front, no big deal, you even get a discount on the merchandise.

For a long time pills have been a tool for keeping said habit in check. Even though it is easy to go cop, people like keeping habits in check. My beef is every time I talk to this person, he always asks about money. His eyes light up with dollar signs and he gets a raging BONER! Where's the moneys, when are you going to get the moneys, what about the moneys etc.

Just dealing with said person has become somewhat of a chore. I know there are people out there that would be more than happy to sell stuff to me without ever making small talk. I am a person that doesn't really like putting forth effort to score, it give me a headache.

Sorry for the long rambling rant. I am interested in other people's experiences with said situations. Do you think I should kick him to the curb? Should I just buy more junk? I know all these questions are sort of rhetorical, but this situation has started to get the better of me.

Not sure I understand? If you have the "money's" it doesn't seem like it would be a big deal for the reliability and price.
Is it an issue of wanting to be fronted? If not, just be ready to nip the convo in the bud by handing over the cash and amscre. Dude likes his cash, you like his pills. Win-Win.

Thus bringing me back to my starting statement, shady shady shady. Anyone else have something to contribute regarding shady fucks? Maybe I should have just kept my mouth shut. The wife is sick of listening to me bitch about said person. I think I'll stick to dope.....

Yeah I totally agree with the product upfront thing. BUT I had a guy who never had enough for the doctor, and I would loan him the money. Everytime like clockwork he would come through. Every situation is different.

Well, just remember that money can be sort of like an addiction as well. Just like when i see pills, or know that i am about to go buy what my DOC, my eyes light up and i get a raging boner also. My dude loves money, but couldn't care less about the pills. All they are to him are little dollar signs.

Usually it's only a matter of time till something will fuck up and he wont have the pills or your money. Also..The most shady dealers are those who keep trying to raise prices because they think you NEED the pills (when maybe you don't) and that they are the ONLY source you have (when indeed they are not).. I've told several of these type of fucks to go fuck themself.. They start off cool at first then once they THINK they are your only option, they try to fuck you in the ass with the price. Totally taking advantage of someone they THINK has a bad enuff habit and will pay out of desperation. I love to tell them to take the pills and shove them up their ass and see the look on their face. Then when they call me bitching I tell them to fuck off and I've deleted their number out of my phone and to NEVER call me again.

And some custies can be shady as fuck and a super pain in the ass to deal with. Always nagging about shit, being pushy. Don't respect hours of operation and still call "after shop is closed".. Fuck these fuckers too.. Just gotta drop them easy.. And finally just say that you're outta the game for a while and I'll let ya know when I'm back in, but never call them back or answer/return their calls.

And BOTH the shady dealers AND custies both almost are always YOUNG PUNKS.. early to mid 20's and just don't know the etiquette of the game. FUCK EM'!

When goods and/or services no longer satisfy you or aren't up to par, stop going to the person. I've had to abandon regular dealers when their shit got sloppy. Life is a series of dealers. You deal with one person for a while until you find yourself moving on to someone new, sometimes they overlap eachother and sometimes you have multiple dealers but one inevitably always falls off the list for whatever reason.

I don't know if this is an option but you say you get them to keep other habits in check. Can you gauge how much you use in a month? Then if your money is right you could stock up a months worth or more. Limit the amount of transactions so it won't be such a burden on you.

You're annoyed because he asked you to help him fund getting the pills? Well surely he should give you a break on the price for that. Though he may not, that is what I would want to happen. It's all very well to make a profit off drugs you sell, but only if you took the chance of investing and risking your own money buying / stocking them. If you had to borrow the money, unless it was just a nice friend, they're going to expect a piece of the action

So he just badgers you about cash? My old hookup was like that. He was constantly trying to make sure he had enough cash lined up, even if the deal was a week away (usually pharmacy runs, like your guy).

Be careful with giving him money up front. He already tested the waters by walking off with your cash once. The only thing that probably saved you is your potential usefulness ($$$) down the road. I used to follow my guy into the pharmacy and hold his cell phone so he couldn't dip out and then call for a ride. I hung around the front of the store (only customer exit) and usually bought something to justify my presence (cigs, gum, otc meds).

He used to get A214's and 60 mg morphines. Morphine is my pharmaceutical of choice and the 214s were somewhat of a novelty for me. You know, fun but not my favorite. Then his doctor upped his oxy script to 30's and quit writing for the morphine. I don't think I am going to tell him to fuck off, just say I'm laying low and give my poor head a break. It is easier for me to cop dope in my neighborhood than go halfway across town for expensive pills that I don't really care for.

The other day I got a call from him about $1 per mg methadone pills. I did laugh in his face that time, as I've never paid more than .50 per mg and don't plan to ever. The fact that he did that gave me the feeling he was trying to take me for a chump and make some extra loot while getting over on me. I am not sure if he remembers or not but he introduced me to someone and while he was in the car with me and said dude, dude told me that he could get me .50 mg methadone.

Eehh, thanks for the advice guys and gals. I think I am going to move on. There are plenty of people in this city with delicious drugs. You know plenty of fish in the sea kinda thing.

be happy he is willing to sell part of his script to you, especially at a discounted rate. these days it seems anyone is happy to get anything that actually works and the market has dropped out except for roxis going for 15 now 20 and 25 even in places with a good supply (FL, Los Angeles, etc). Gloomy days are upon us, well, at least for all of us that like Rx meds. I really want to see what it does to the quality of H. I have already seen pretty much everyone make the switch, with a lot of people going form like half a roxi every few days to a 20 bag a day to $100 worth a day to rehab etc. Will people be more shady and cut everything to shit when it come to H? will america change its drug of choice and we all go to sniffing blow again? Will the mexicans get their game down and flood Cali and AZ and New Mex with high quality product and make a killing? shit is fucked up.

You know, I never thought of it until you said it 7-10, but I guess more and more people are starting to switch to H. For now my H connection is convenient and cheap, but how long will it last? I really do feel like I have invested so much into him and his medicine, with nothing in return. On the flip side, when bought in bulk, I was not paying $20 a piece. It must come with the territory.

Maybe I have become a little jaded regarding dealer/customer relations? Maybe I am just a softy with sensitive feelings? When I was talking to him on the phone, he was like,"guess you don't want anything to do with me or from me anymore..right!!!" Alcoholism here I come. But to echo 7-10, shit is really wild in the NE with 30's right now, heads are paying 30-35 a pop in my area, no problem. But I still have a hard time with prices like .50 a mg for singles, nevermind fucking over a dollar a mg and 20-25 for bulk, you're real lucky to pay 15$ for bulk around here. 8$ a pop for bulk was the last price I was comfortable with.

It's not like the dope around here isn't fire, or cheap. It's not like they're all holier than thou oxy-kids either, they've shot good dope. But they would rather pay 200-300$ a day supporting a oxy habit, fuck that.

I think your dude thinks he was doing you a bigger favor than he really was, because of the state of current affairs with oxy. But you're clearly supporting homies habit... I'd still give him a call and make sure he knows it's nothing personal...Might be sick one day and your only options could be this dude, or paying retail.

This thing, as you put it, must certainly have lots of dealers I'm sure. But if you live in a small town or dont know many people in the scene, that might not be the case. I wish I could just change dealers, in my experience you just have to deal with a crappy dealer till a better one comes along. Shit I'd be happy with a real dealer, been having to use a middle man for a long time. For some it's just not easy.

To the op, seems like a decent situation if you want to take the pharmy route. The thing I hate the most about dealers is waiting in the car! 10-25 minutes is how long my guy takes to come outside so I can drive him to the dealer, pisses me off. Or course this is after he told me to haul ass over, and call him when I'm out front so he can run out because of his neighbors.
