Or feel bizarre at the least. I've been taking DXM these days just out of boredom and while I haven't been acting funny I still get them strange feelings. But then again I've acquired more of a tolerance and haven't been taking doses big enough to be totally trippin'. I used to do that a lot in high school, had some good trips ((one really good while listening to Building The Church by Steve Vai) and some not so good. Tripping/tweaking on DXM/diphenhydramine has a strange appeal. It's not always good but it is still fun. Awfully macabre though.

I once dropped datura extract in my eyes to increase the size of my pupils, when I was going to the methadone clinic, because despite being sick I "wasn't displaying any physical symptoms of WD." I ended up with one giant pupil and one tiny one, and it didn't happen until I had left the clinic. I got lucky, had they seen just one giant pupil they would have probably thought I had a head injury and not dosed me. I went to breakfast with my parents afterwards, the restaurant we were eating at had a giant mirror right next to the booth we where sitting in. Every one was looking at me really weird, and even the waitress (that has known me since I was knee high) if I was OK, one pupil was so big it was ridiculous. I was laughing my ass off, reminds me of the time one of my friends moms had accused my friend of being high, half baked where her exact words, because he had one red eye.
