I didn't vote just because I'm pretty split on the issue. I love a good nod anytime I don't have a bunch of shit on my to-do list. If I've got stuff to do, I'll stick with morphine. Like MMC said, more than 2 or 3 shots and I'll get a splitting headache. It sort of keeps me from getting too loaded so i can be productive. Now h on the other hand will put me out to the point I'm literally drooling on my shirt!

The only thing is I feel like I'm not going to wake up when I start nodding from a fat shot of H. What happens is I'll start nodding and realize I could stop breathing. Then my anxiety spikes and I loose any nod I had. I just sit there and focus on my anxiety and the fact that I could possible have euthanized myself.

a few years ago when my tolerance to OC was really high and I could barely catch a nod I used to mix it with a lot of xanax and valium and nod super hard, but now I prefer a "pure" nod from just opiates than to mixing benzos+opi's

depends really, unfortunately if i do catch a nod off dope these days its usually due to a shitty cut , not that the dope is that good.

Yeah, I dream that something is happening to my hand, though it rarely wakes me up. I end with up huge blisters that are stained or burned brown. It's kind of gross, but it doesn't stop me from doing it.

Exactly. Gouching (nodding) is that effect where you may look nearly asleep but you are definitely aware of what you are feeling. It's a state between sleep & fully awake, almost dream like. It's the state most people on gear seek. The feeling ebbs & flows with lucid calm moments through to a waking dream like state.

It's what keeps me coming back & I'm surprised someone would see it as a negative. Taking your gear & falling asleep, waking up an hour or two later is NOT nodding.

^^ i guess i've never really had a proper nod then. for me it's basically just like falling asleep. which can be handy, being an insomniac. in fact that's one of the things that got me into opiates in the first place.

Interestingly seedy, I was doing pods for a while from a friend who had a crops worth and decided they were trouble. I found the 'nod' of pods to be more akin to being asleep, while the heroin nod is entirely different. I find even nods from different batches of H can be different.

I remember the best one I ever had. I'd been off subs about a week and had just been switched to methadone. I shot about two thirds of my usual dose and it was just so lovely. Like I wasn't falling asleep and heavily out of it. Just was highly comfortable to have my eyes closed. We were watching breaking bad and I hadn't watched the series from the start so would just nod through it.

I don't enjoy the nod as much when you have to mix in xanax or halcion or whatever else you have to do. It's dirtier and to me, is more akin to that alcoholic type blackout. One particular time, I'd had about 4 halcion and two large blasts, each one was big enough to be considered a large shot for me. I basically just fell asleep facedown on my laptop for an hour and a half. Went out of my room and talked to my flatmate and his friends. Opened a drink, took a sip and suddenly it's 2 hours later, the lights are off and everyone's in bed.

^^ actually one time after ibo i'd been clean for about 3 months and had a shot of some expert homebake, and maybe had a taste of a proper nod but my tol was so low that i just passed out for about 4 hours (it was only about 15mg!), but before i passed out i was getting the crazy lucid dreaming thing going on. i'm on the done as of next week so will have to do some experimenting with the easter takeaways (i assume that'll happen right? or do they assign you to the after hours pharmacy?).

tonight i'm on some good quality seedage mixed with some clonaz and xanax. i'm definitely nodding like a motherfucker but i8t's really nothing speciual. one day...

Also, cos the banks will be closed on monday which is when my money is usually put in, I'll get it on Friday instead. So I'll have double pay that week plus take homes! Might switch my regular use of bake to seeds. It definitely appeals to me in many ways. I feel like it'd be a better thing to have then a blast when I'm feeling like spicing up my methadone. How come you're switching from subs? Or are you off subs at the mo? My friends and I all felt like subs are good if you really want to be done with opiates but don't want to hang. i was on subs for about 1.5 years a while back, then got clean for a bit, now back on the seeds. if i wasn't so fucking broke right now i might have considered subs again but it costs nearly as much as maintaining on seeds so fuck that! i start on monday at 20 measly mgs. fuckers. i get the feeling the welli team are very stingy with their dosing. any tips to get up to a decent dose good and fast? i'm thinking 45-50 would probably be plenty.

Yeah definitely possible. In fact, the set I've been hanging out with lately do in fact do that. Most of us do a quicker form of homebake, where instead of extracting the morphine from a pill or two, you just do the whole process on the pill, ingredients and all. Filter it and shoot it.

However, some of my friends have no usable tubes left and smoke. So we do a process where we extract the morph and turn that to H itself. The end product is uncut #3. it usually comes out red if done well and is pretty strong. I.e a point can and will kill a non tolerant user.

Recently been speaking to a friend who's quite involved in the scene and he tells me the AA originates from the treating of timber in the wood industry. They use it for some form of Kauri tree carving / making process with several other ingredients. By itself, AA goes for 10$ a ml but in bulk, it's about 2-800 a litre

I've been much better since slowing down my use in the last couple of years but my old laptop was missing 5 melted keys.. I once woke up to a 1foot hole smoldering next to me my plush settee.. (I reupholstered the cushion but it was still a bummer) Like you mentioned, I was "dreaming" that there was something burning on the stove and I kept resisting opening my eyes as I was sure I hadn't put the cooker on. Didn't come to until my cat jumped on my lap to alert me..

We got a brand new cream/beige color leather sofa a few months ago..The day it was delivered I was already cringing at the inevitable lol..

Its been about 3 mos and so far there are only about 6 small singes on it--better than I thought!
My s/o steals my clothes all the time, especially my jeans and they ALL have little holes in them now. Luckily I've been able to ban smoking in the boudoir for the most part so the sheets/mattress have survived somewhat unscathed..
An unfortunate thing is he often passes out with cigarettes even when not on dope.. just legit "sleepy" etc. At least most of the time one can chalk up the material liabilities to a good time..but in this case it's often just carelessness and neurotic chainsmoking at 6am instead of giving in and coming to bed..

Exactly. I find it nearly impossible to actually sleep for good when high. Nodding is a completely different thing, and honestly, I have only properly reached that state on H--never on pharms (well.. dilaudid was close but still not quite the same..)
A really intense nod usually occurs when you are upright, sitting or even standing.. I had a roommate who would nod standing up all the time.. sometimes bent in half like touching her toes and swaying back and forth for a couple hours. Looks absolutely disgusting but fuck, doesn't it feel amazing (until the next day arrives with sat. night palsy or an awful cramp in your back or a crease on your forehead from resting your head somewhere unintentionally hard.. lol..)
Oh, those were the days... I haven't nodded like that in years!
