Okay today I picked up 60 ms cots 15mg because I got my income tax back and had recently lowered my sub dose to 1mg subling a day so around .4mg, anyway I was counting the pills in my bathroom and put them back in the ziplock baggy with my somas. Proceeded to take a shower forgetting that I had left the bag half open next to my clothes. 5min shower max, but now the pills are a tad moist.

I didn't get water in them but the steam absorbed into them, what do you all think? Are the pills still good, they're not to bad just abit actually makes it easier to break up the MS cotn. Took 9 due to tolerance because up until last week I was on 1.5mg of sub so 135mg oral=>54mg total due to bio.

Oh well in that case, how many would you like? I have a tree outside that just grows morphine tablets and blooms every day so limitless. (Actually I'm pretty buzzed from the morphine/somas/weed, kinda shocked because I took most of them with the XR coating, but its been 48 hours since the 1.5 or whatever I took and .6 subling was this morning at 7 so I guess it wasn't enough to block it.) Haven't had a glow like this in 8 months, wow.. I missed this feeling, morphine's always been my favorite opiate except the bad oral bio. I should go on silkroad and see whats for sale... sorry off topic, starting to nod. Also took 2 Nyquil gel cap's so bet it's adding to the nod, well if everyone agrees they are still good that's great news. Will they degrade or loose potency any faster though?

The guy never ended up coming through so I got the morphine instead, I know my posts are sometimes worthless I apologize.. When buzzed I sometimes post stupid shit that I don't mean to. Not all the time but you know, sorry again though. Just got some extra money so I wanted to take a short break, so depressed on subs now feel like dying everyday.

The morphine didn't just up and roll out because of the humidity. I'd dry everything out and then keep dampness away. Maybe your oven has a 'warm' setting? If not, you could preheat it to 300ish, open the door to cool things down, and lay them out to dry with the door still open. You'd just need the warmth, not intense heat.

Yeah I have a low heat setting, left them out in the air and they seem alittle better. I hate when this shit happens, not as bad as the time me and my mom were quitting with methadone she got from a doctor and spilled a glass of water on 300mg of methadone.

,let it air dry or quicker PLACE THE PILLS IN A PILL BOTTLE ALONG WITH SOME dry rice , the rice with pull the water from the pills.
dID YOU EVER SEE A salt shaker WITH RICE IN IT, THAT WHAT THE RICE IS FOR TO ABSORB HUMIDITY AND KEEP THE SALT FROM CLOGGING.

the rice thing works wonders for cell phones that have been dropped in water, never thought of using it for damp pills. good idea.

When I was unwillingly admitted to an inpatient psychiatric hospital last year, I wasn't opiate dependent. I was rd'x 40mg Kadian bid at the time (PM doc) but the hospital didn't have it. (big shocker) They called my doc and he said MScontin would be fine instead. Unfortunately there's no combo of MScontin tabs to total 40mg exactly, so he told them to give me 3x 15mg tabs bid. (That's 45mg instead of 40)

Since I wasn't opiate dependent at the time I occasionally didn't swallow em, I'd cheek em. It was tough because the nurses who brought you your meds usually made sure you swallowed everything, especially when a 19 year old is getting 3 MSContins along with about a dozen other psych meds. (fml...) I put them on a paper towel and set it inside a wooden drawer in my hospital room and it dried em right out. The few I salvaged I took home when I was discharged. Even after being in my mouth for 2-5 minutes, they ended up being ok. When I got home, they worked just as well as they should. Albeit a tad deformed, but fully functional.

The rice worked perfectly, I thought it was kinda silly at first but rice does absorb water. Thanks for the help, was worried they would be somehow ruined

Um....you took 'em, right? So I think you would be able to tell us if they were still good......or am I missing something here?

No, especially if you attempted to dry them out as you said. It's possible they may lose potency faster, but I doubt it would be anything that is going to affect you (like a year or more).

I'd be a little concerned about grains of rice actually sticking and getting glued to the pills if there was enough moisture there. Having to pick individual grains off and scrape them clean of any residue sounds like a bad time. Unless you just swallow the whole mess... I don't know the "feel" of the morphine pills you had or what kind of coating they may have, but I can definitely see rice sticking to any of the brands carisprodol pills I've had with how damn chalky they are.

Yeah, this should be fine and since the Watson (ABG imprint) MSContins are smooth, shiny, they should resist water pretty well and the rice should be able to be picked off quite easily.

Since your ROA is oral, it's not something to worry about, if it was IV, that would be a different story (you would really want to use wheel filters).
