Since I heard good reviews of Mephedrone (4-MMC) I've been wanting to try 4-MEC. I expected it to be less potent, but thought it'd still have potential. Anyways, a friend of mine got a hold of some and broke me off enough to do a couple hits. I probably shouldn't have got my hopes up so high. It's an alright chemical, I was just expecting more. Here's how my little experiment went today.

4pm - snort a 25mg tester line. A bit of a warm glow, definite stimulant push, increased talkativeness. Lasted til about 6:30 with mild after effects til around 8. I smoked a bowl of Red Diesel and actually felt I could drift off to sleep, which is weird for an insomniac like me at 8pm.

10pm - 25mg IV. It goes right into solution in warm tap water; no heating or stirring required. There was no taste after injection. There is a barely noticeable rush... if I hadn't been looking for it I may have missed it. There is an effect, but it's kinda in the background. I'm slightly shakey (normal for me on all stims), talkative, feels a lot like Amphetamine without the flood of thoughts or fidgitiness. I plan on doing a bigger shot but want to wait a bit to see if this progresses at all.

10:30 - Start fixing my last shot, 60mg (the last of my current supply). The shakey hands makes it a bit difficult, but I'm a dedicated professional... I pull it off stellar. Still no taste after injection. I pulled the needle out too fast and had a bit slip out of my vein; I expected it to burn, it didn't. There was more of a rush this time around, but still nothing to really write home about. As far as effects go, pretty much everything from the first shot just amplified a bit. Music sounds different, not good different either... just weird. That surprised me. I can see how larger doses would be somewhat empathetic... it has the potential but I feel I am at a low level here (which makes me believe it's not as pure as they claim, given my dosages). It may also have to do with my previous small doses earlier. This drug makes my arm pits (only the arm pits) sweat like crazy, even with a good deal of antiperspirant deodorant on... but I notice no rise in body temperature.

I am going to have to talk my friend into letting me get 100mg so I can slam all of it home at once to get a good feel for this thing. That's a venture for another day; I'm all out right now and have started drinking anyways.

I looked all over for a report on using 4-MEC IV and found nothing. I spent a good amount of time looking too. Has anyone else noticed that there are no reports of IV use on Erowid? I've never seen one. Do they not allow it? If I can get a decent hit in me I'll write one up for them.

I really hope a stronger shot will do the trick. I was expecting a decent rush and was disappointed. Hopefully, I can talk my way into another sample. If I do, I will update.

i've tried it a few times. it's ok, but like mephedrone, you really need to take about 200mg to get a proper feel for it.

i really enjoyed iving it, but it's very short lived, and as you've probably noticed, re-dosing more than once doesn't work well. it has a nice euphoria that isn't too stimulating, and feels like it would mix very nicely in a shot with some morphine (or other opiate of choice) - i reckon that combo would push all the right buttons!

I had the same experience, but found that injecting 500mgs was exactly like methylone, but lasted only 1/2 as long. To get this effect I had to push it fast, or it was wasted. 1 redose per day and you build a tolerance that makes it useless. If it didn't take all but one hit of methylone to figure this out it would have lasted x2 as long. I was jumping back and forth between methylone and 4-FMC every day for two weeks. Smelled like isosafaril, and made me test positive for Exstacy, even on a gc/ms drug test.

EDIT: Apologies, the bag was labeled 4-FMC, the names I was given didn't always line up with what was being sold and popular.

Yes, and No. It's like a short lived MDMA, at least when your IVing the shit. It has a body buzz, and a roll like feeling, but I am not sure every one would be willing to deal with a worst come down than MD(M)A, crushing depression, anxiety etc and the high is so short lived. Gives a great rush though.

I really wish there where a more standardized naming system for these drugs, most substances have a few names, sometimes they'll have two drugs with the same name. Fuckin confusing as hell

thanks s/j, i wonder whether it might not be so up and downy if you snorted it rather than pinned it, but one of the beauties of mdma is the fact youre gurning for a good few hours, and unless you take more than 3 (or have a proper strong or dirty one) the comedowns are pretty manageable, once you take them things out the equation its a whole different chemical...
more r/c opiates please, pref one that mimics EXACTLY strong brown afghan heroin (well i can hope cant i?)

Haven't posted here in a while, and this thread caught my attention. My trial sessions with 4-MEC were disappointing; finished off the entire gram in one sitting and didn't get much out of it (I had IV'ed it as well). The product I consumed felt very serotonergic, without much dopamine or adrenaline activity to speak of. I concluded that either my product was bunk, or I had been spoiled by my recent sessions with a-PVP and pentedrone (both of which were highly reinforcing and both of which had been active for me in doses as low as 10 mg).

Sounds like he only put enough water in to make it a suspension and not a solution, not a big deal. The same will happen with N-methamp. If that's the case it will break down in the proper amount of blood circulating.
