    Default DXM - Bleeding?

    The last time I "tripped" on dxm (about 4-5 months ago) I had some trouble the next day. I had horrible diarrhea that was red in color. It also smelt like hell. Can DXM cause internal bleeding? I still experience some stomach trouble once in a while.

    Edit - Does this happen to anyone else?

    id say its more likely to be red dye from whatever syrup or gelcaps you took. i know if i drink enough red gatorade or fruit punch ill have red shits

    Beetroot will also cause red stools. I agree with Larkin, that in your case it was most likely red dye from the syrup or gelcaps you took.

    I took the generic soft melts and it rocked my stomach the next day. I did notice left over food dye, but no blood.
