searching the net some time ago, probably reading about the mafia or some shit, i came across this website, which claims to be a database of agents and federal informants, now as a caveat i have to state im from england, so i know less than nothing about yalls legal system (apart from the fact that it seems RIDICULOUSLY punitive on matters of personal choice in a country that places such a high premium on 'freedom', but still, thats another issue) it may do what it says on the tin, it may not, i just thought id draw peoples attention to it cause if i can keep in the most tiny way anyone on here out of the belly of the beast, that cant be a bad thing, surely?

i once knew someone that turned out to be a rat and the person he had set up was represented by the same lawyer and said lawyer gave him a copy of the rats signed statement to the cops and he went an made coppies and posted that shit all over the block and his ass got arrested for that shit i forget what the charge was but im gonna assume it was intimidation of a witness


edit: i just looked at there docket to see the charges and it was intimidation of a witness, retaliation against a witness, and recklessly endangering another person, the only one thats a felony is the retaliation charge

There was a guy on another drug group I used to be on (screen name Jose, among other things, I'm sure a few Opis must have run across him) who was the definition of a psychotic poster, pages and pages of hate filled rants etc, one of his main insults was to call anyone he disagreed with, which was everyone, a rat. Then the guy got busted by the Feds a couple years ago for oxy etc shipments from Brazil, not his local police and people in the know said the Feds moved in because he was a source for the local cops so they left him alone and this was going on for literally like 20 years. I think he was up for 6-7 years and ended up getting only 3 or 4, hmmmmmm....anyway, good riddance, currently cooling his heels at a Fed facility in PA on a protective custody wing.

They love them some rules and regulations to lock up all of those deviant druggies. They absolutely adore building huge, violent, gang-ridden prisons to house dangerous weed smokers that will hopefully get shivved by a Peckerwood in order to save the state some money. (Of course, Mr. Law & Order also doesn't really want to ever pay taxes to build those prisons, so welcome the phenomenon of the corporate-run, corrupt as hell New Prison Profit Center.)

Oh yeah--they tend to be the most pious of Christians too. The kind of 'Christian' who skips right over all that bothersome Jesus brotherhood and community piffle to get to the fire and brimstone eye-for-an-eye stuff.

Yeah, I know he's old news, but he's such a charming example of a douchy gasbag--he's irresistable. Before he was doctor shopping four doctors, Rush was so hyped up on the War on Drugs and lock-em-up-throw-away-the-keyism that you could virtually see the hateful gleam in his piggy little eyes even over the radiowaves. If Rush and his ilk had their way, we'd be bringing back lynching in the olde town square.

I liked that episode, and I have to heartily agree with you about D'nofrio. He manages to be as wooden as a solid block of mahogany and a first-class scenery chewer. He's right up there with David Caruso for the Horribly Affected Actor in a Crime Series Emmy. Jeff Goldblum is so much better and really kinda weird on L&O Criminal Intent.
