Fuck yeah. Last night, I finally got a hook up on some opiates. An old homie of mine knows a guy who sells Opana. I asked him what mg's they were and he said 20 or 40, so that leads me to believe they're ER. Anyways, I have used Opana IR once before. However, I had also been doing H for most of the day prior to that so I didn't get a good feel for it. Now I have been clean of H for about 26 days, and I think im ready to give this stuff a try. What are your thoughts on Opana? How do you think It will compare to snorted ECP heroin? If they are indeed ER, other than IV, what is the best way to take them and still get good euphoria?

Any tips, or experiences would be greatly appreciated

Opana is the next best thing to dope as far as what I think. And since you sniff dope sniffin opana will be fine. It will gel in your nose and shit some but it ain't no big deal.

No sir, I used to get ECP in Tampa. I have only been in Nebraska for a month now. Im actually contemplating IV'n this stuff. Right now, I have access to a pretty much endless stash of new 5ml rigs. Never IV'd anything before though, and having someone with me is kind of out of the question.

I dont think I'd start IVing with the pill that's probably the hardest of all pills to get ready for IV.

Why do you want to start IVing now and you didnt with dope? Opana is fine sniffed, with out all that alcohol extraction shit or what the fuck ever

They are bangable as I see people banging the 20mg ers all the time but in the name of harm reduction I would not suggest a first time IV user to inject something like this. One becuase it is so potent and you have a good chance of falling out and second the ers gel up in the rig bad and are extrmely hard to prep safely enough to inject.

I snort my opana which I suggest becuase I do not use the needle, but all my cohorts use the needle and it takes them a while to crisp and prep the ers.

Be safe since its your first time using er opana, I had a 10 a day 30mg oxy habit and snorted a whole 40mg er opana and thought I was close to ODing.

I suppose you both are right. I just read through a couple IV Opana guides and it really does seem quite complicated. So im gonna save that for something else. Do either of you have experience plugging Opana?

Opana ER really isn't bangable. It's a complete fiasco trying to break the code so to speak, getting around the gel monster that it TimerX. Snorted Oxymorphone has a great bioavaliablity, so I'd stick to that. Doing it in smaller lines/bumps will also be betterbecause there wont be a shit ton of gel in your nose. Snorting is pretty much "the way" for Opana ER. Plus if you dont already IV, I wouldn't start with Opana. If you're gonna start IVing eventually, get some Opana IR or other IR meds.

You can get rigs no problem in Florida. I'm also from the tampa area ( before I came to NY). OP why couldn't you get rigs? Whatev.

As for why I couldn't get rigs in Tampa...When I had gotten to the point of my heroin habit where I was considering IV, I could only afford enough to get well, then lightly nod. I could rarely even afford food. Realizing that, I could never justify spending money on new rigs every day. Just the thought of re-using needles freaks me the fuck out, so that wasn't an option either.

Uh not to be a hater or something but I think you could afford a needle costing less then a dollar with all the money you would save from IVing since the BA is like double you'd need half the amount of dope.

You are right, and my logic is a bit silly. At the same time, I still wouldn't have had someone to show me how to properly shoot up. I have always been a closet doper.

Best to lost those new rigs and then fall back into the reality that rigs are VERY expensive and you cannot afford them.

Snorting will alomst feel as good as IV besides the incredible rush that you get from it.
The only thing that comes close to this rush is dope and dilaudid and that is all.
As far as the time it will last, definatly snorting will last almost double the time. When I snort a 40 I will stick the pill in my mouth for about 4-5 seconds then right away ( and I mean right away) dry it with a towell. Both sides and the actually side parts all around the pill itself . You need to do this quickly and throughly becuase if you dont the pill will get messed up and you will get flakes that wont turn to powder, and you will end up wasting some.
You can totally avoid this by getting a rag and put some iso 91% in it and rub the coating off . This way it wont gel up the outside of the pill at all.
I am telling you man, snorting these is the way to go, becuase you will fly through the tabs by iving them. Snorting will last you about 8 hours , iv only about 6 or so.
And after 6 hours you will be starting to ge sick. Everyone is different as fae as how long it will last but that is me.
With the ERs it is also very hard to prep them for IV. It takes me about 30 minutes minumum to get it ready. But I have only done up the ERs about 6 times, and the first 2 I fucked the up and ended up burning the hell out of my viens and making myself feel very sick and had trouble breathing becuase I did not evap the alcohol all the way . Also all I need is 10 mg at a time if I sniff them, but IV I need at least 30 mg, but I perfer 40.
If you can get your hands on the 10mg IR tabs ( the hot pink ones) those are the best. all you have to do is crush them, add water, filter and then blast off.

Seems like a real hassle, and not the safest thing in the world to do. The method involving the 12-24 hour soak seems legit, but as others have said, it's not very sanitary, and I'm not convinced you're really getting all of that shit out of it, even if you filter pretty well. One guy on another forum was talking about how when he shot ERs several times without doing much of a separation, he got these uncontrollable shakes for like 20 minutes... Something about something in the pill reaching your heart and not jiving well. That said, people do seem to do it.

But unless you have a really good reason to bang them, might as well snort... I think they snort better than good powdered H even.

Sniff them. My friend tried to bang them a few times but it just seems too dirty for him. The only pill he will bang is kadian with micron wheel filters because he believes that to be the about the safest pill to cleanly prep. Sniff the opana er and start small. Tiny lines every 15 till you get where you want to be.

i think i am going to have to call the harm reduction police. you are obviously extracting your opana wrong and if you say you rig up a forty at once, while also, at the same time that 10 mg gets you high snorting it, then something is wrong, and you should totally not advocate that to a new IV user. opana is strong as fuck and what if he followed the directions exactly and happened to get a 35mg opana shot he would most certainly die.. im not being a dick, but i think its kinda important. dudes.. opana is a force not to be reckoned with. be careful... shit..

I was curious myself how 10mg sniffed did the job. My friend has noticed that tolerance shoots to the sky very quickly sniffing them and the withdrawal is horrifically painful and onsets very quickly. Be careful.

I agree concerning the onset of withdrawals. W/Ds come on fuckin quick with Opana. Having been doing Opana regularly for about 6 months, It never fails for me to wake up with aches and pains, runny nose and a touch of RLS each morning. That would put last dose the night before at about 8-9 hours ago. With Roxys, I at least had 12-18 hours before I was feeling poorly. I just did a full withdrawal on Opana little over a month ago. at the time I quit i was snorting 160-180mgs/day. Now im at about 80mgs/day, but you can also bet it will take no time to get back to that old level seeing as my tollerance shoots up fast with Opana. Only reason im back to using Opana is I had side nasty side affects on Subs so that was a NoGo for me. Was either stop them or hurt someone, serious anger issues.

Damn I have gotten these shakes too, . I have only gotten them when I was out of bacteriostsic water and had to use plain old hot tap water.
I guess it was kind of like cotton fever. I would wake up at night sweating my ass off but at the same time had the chills and was shaking to death.
I went back to sleep and then it was gone..
Not 100% sure what it was from, but I bet it was from using the tap water. I never got this when using hot bacterioststic water instead.
Last month stopped shooting the ER tabs becuase I found myself going through way too many of them in a day. So now I only shoot my IR tabs.
I find that by sniffing I an get by with close to half my persribed dose w/o getting sick, but by shooting, I go through about double my perscribed dose!

Last night I was finally able to pick up the Opana. I got 1, 40mg ER for $50. Snorting has been much easier than I anticipated. The high is really smooth, but takes a little bit to kick in. I cut the pill into 6 pieces and sniffed tiny bumps. Did half last night, and im in the process of finishing the rest tonight.

Overall I am very satisfied with Opana. Before moving to Nebraska, my DOC was powder heroin. My daily dose was -/+0.3g for $50. So far I find the high/price to be very comparable to my ECP, and it's lasting me pretty much the same amount of time.

Fuck Ybor indeed! What was once a fantastic run-down paradise (1990's) has degenerated into rows of generic clubs that all play the same crap music and serve watered down drinks. Only place I'd go these days is The Castle...love me some half nekkid goth chicks (so does the wife)!

I knew ECP exists in the Bay Area, but it's next to impossible to get into the scene without knowing someone personally. I came across it three times, but before I was into opiates...probably a good thing. Once they were even stamp bags (with logo).

Crazy thing is tar has made it here too...I think it's one of the few places to have both. Tar appears to be easier to get if you know where to look...as a former insufflator I had no desire to try it though. One of our fellow Tampons (ha!) here on the 'Phile came across some recently.
