Injecting Human Remains

I have a question about harm reduction/safe injecting.

Completely hypothetically, would it be safe to shoot the smallest amount of someone's ashes? Like, after they've been cremated? Do you think just a little fluff of the stuff would be water soluble enough to IV? If not could you add some citric acid?

I know it sounds sick and fucked up and I would never try it -- but it's at least a cool idea for a movie or something...like, if the love of my life were to die -- I would add just a dash of ashes in a giant shot of gear to have her in me forever.

edit: also, aside from solubility, would there be a way to sterilize the ashes? what do you think the chances of abscess would be?

Maybe this should be in the Sick and Twisted Minds Forum? Harm reduction is for people who want to shoot up opioids. I have a feeling that it is not for people to shoot up ashes hoping that there traces of alkaloids in a person's system. This is right up there with injecting Vitamin C hoping for a dilly rush.

PS- Oh, crematoria will tell you that not all of the ashes are part of the person, some are from the "box" and maybe clothes they had on. Some bone fragments/teeth remain afterwards. Don't try to inject those things, eh?

did he say he hoped there were trace alkaloids? yeah right, like there'd be alkaloids after being incinerated. are you fucking kidding me? stop assuming and learn to read. . he said add the shot WITH some gear.. he was being more or less symbolic.. like taking your dead loved one on a ride with some H..


personally, i think the idea is kickass, but it IMO would have to be:
a) a REAL loved one (ie: significant other for me)
b) a loved one with a love for dope as much as you
c) ONCE and only ONE time only.. any time after that, you're fuckin' addicted to the incinerating necrophoria ;))

Now, if it's possible to "boil off" contaminants at boiling temperatures after a certain amount of time, it would be realistic to assume that temperatures greatly exceeding that for an even longer period of time (cremation) would get rid of them all. so if it were kept air-tight and never opened just to be sure..

I thought cremation turned ya into 100% carbon, and boy was i wrong.

If I were doing this (and I probably never will), i'd take a scoop the size of a BB or pencil lead out, put it in a sterile spoon, add .05cc iso alcohol, and let evap.. then, add gear, add water, shoot.

I've dropped part of a cig ash in a spoon before.. it was about the size of a BB when it fell, but most of the "ash" has pockets of air in it.. so it was even less than that amount. But cig ash prolly has different substances in it..

IIRC it made the water barely dark, barely murky around where it dropped but when mixed up, i could tell no difference b/t a normal solution and solution with ash..


all this talk about carbon makes me think of modest mouse..

I woudln't do this to a friend (well, maybe) but I'd even try human meat if it were all prepared and stuff.

Carbon is not water soluable. Therfore if you actualy injected the ash (w/out filtering it outta the shot) you'd probly be putting yourself in some degree of risk.
Be a cool tribute to someone tho...at least if they were supportive of you being an IV drug abuser.

somehow I just don't think shoving a loved ones ashes up your ass doesn't seem as fitting and romantic a tribute as shooting, sniffing, or drinking a loved ones ashes. the calcium, phosphate, sodium, and potassium should dissolve in water. I'd probably just sniff it though, they say the human soul has a high intranasal bioavailability lol

id say its a safe bet to plan for an eventual death.

you could save up a bunch of scabs and blood to incinerate,
just in case someone who isnt hip to recreation corpse use is in charge of your remains...
