Try cutting back, smoking small pipefuls, let your lungs unclog a little. I had always heard it was a reverse tolorance, you need less to get high the longer you smoke.
I only do 1or 2 hits at a time and keep getting higher throughout the day, but we are all different with different body chemistry. Anyone's like mine?

tolerance only became an issue when i was working on art/music (or stone broke), when i'd be in the waster haze of sitting around packing bong after bong as a way of life, itd rob me of all creativity and the psychedelic 'spark' would be gone no matter how much i smoked, so detoxing was essential.

my friends who sell enough to be able to smoke and watch tv all day are the most boring lifeless folks, they got no desire to do anything, to make anything.

maybe the fact that most of the 'good' pot in this city anymore is indica has something to do with it, that shit usually made me paranoid and couch-locked, not energetic and filled with a million ideas.

It's never going to be like it was those first times. Just like any other drug... you can quit for a while and get better effects, but if you continue to smoke you'll be back to forgetting you're even high in a few days.

this reason alone is one of the sole reasons I'm glad to be broke-I can never regulate my pot smoking when I have enough cash to smoke all the time.

I've been trading things for benzos lately and am thinking of trying out some russian shit I noted in a few threads here and there. Benzos really moderate bupe to be something it's definitely not on it's own: noddy. And it's the same thing as moderating heroin with other alkaloids like mam-6 or antishitamines or other sedative cuts to make people all noddy, when it's just the combination and not that real true dope-nod.

But I'm okay with that.

well as always tolerance sucks. the only thing that i like about having developed a weed tolerance is that now i can really tell the difference between strains. whereas, with no tolerance, any weed that u smoke gets u completely ripped.

I totally agree with this. I never noticed any difference in my early years of smoking. Either it got me high or it didn't.

Now, I can really tell the difference. I even smoked some fresh leaves from topping off my plants and enjoyed that high more then what I've been used to. It was real energetic, seemed to make the bright sunshine stand out much more, and was a refreshing change from the knock-you-on-your-ass heavy bud I can buy around here.

I use to blaze all day every day. Then as I started doing H real heavy I lost all drive to smoke. Now that I've started again I get retarted stoned. You can change your tolerance with weed. Just like everything else its hard to stop, thats all.

Welcome to my world. Instead I use a bong which I find packs a nicer punch but it doesn't usually last more than 20-40 minutes then it fades off by the time it's been an hour. If I eat afterward the buzz goes away within 10 minutes, easily! Don't feel you're alone.

Kind of unrelated but I could never tolerate weed.
I'm the guy Burroughs wrote about when he said this friend after taking a few puffs would
scream out "I got THE FEAR!" & proceed to jump out the window & race crazy for the horizon.

Having tried so many times in ideal circumstances with & w/o company - no difference. I either got "the greens" as someone called it vomiting for hours & desperatly awaiting for the dizzy spells to pass & my vision to converge back from seeing double. Other times it was just terrible anxiety. Once After doing some opiates I thought id give it a a shot while out in the park. Last thing I remember is running as fast as i could pack to the house to get more junk to fix my buzz & cure the anxiety weed has brought out in me. I never criticize mj , in fact I wish i would like it, LOVE it to have a nice mild drug to fall back upon when I get sad, which is way toooften these days or at least you know something to put me to sleep or get my appetite going to put some meat on these bones.

People told me you gotta get over this hump & just smoke for a while & you'll get used to it. Any thoughts?

I remember when first starting to smoke I would take a few puffs of some schwag out in a field by my house and literally be in total euphoria, signing to the moon, just being so happy. Looking back on it that should have been a bit of a warning sign. I still got all nostalgic when I pass by the field its funny.

Nowadays I only puff high grade A quality indica, I use it to relax and slow down my fucking ADD brain. I can't really function stoned unless its something really basic like going to the store or to have a beer. I used to be able to do anything totally ripped but not anymore. I smoke much much less in amount and as often as I used to. One to three puffs and I am good, anything more and I don't enjoy it. Now, I also regularly take months off of the stuff.

Anyways I have been sticking with the 1 to 3 puffs for years, there were times, especially when I first started on opiates that I would smoke a blunt to the dome in one sitting.

Its getting to the point where I am just going to be done with the stuff.

I am like that but the first bowl of the day gets me the nicest. Also, it's not like I get ripped like I would if I took a month off from smoking and smoked a big bowl but still, one-two hits of good stuff is about all I need. That gets me really ripped.

I'm like you. It's weird because I thought that pot was supposed to be good for nausea but it makes me super nauseous. Sucks, because everyone talks like it's so great and I wish it could be for me.

I have had this happen to me over and over and it sucks. I have found a few tips to get really high again.. 1. Change up the type of pot you are smoking
2. Take a short break so that your tolerance ges down
3. Mix it with some hash(if available
4. Drink some alcohol with it--together you will get a good buzz
5. Roll a fat blunt--you will smoke more pot at once than with a bowl, and "I" get a nicotine
buzz since I don't smoke tobacco

This all works for me but everyone's chemistry is different so it might not work for others.

God only knows, because I sure as hell can't remember. I remember just starting at the moon admiring the beauty of it and shit.

I also sang to it the first time on mushrooms. First time I took L and E was at a rave... otherwise I'm sure I would have belted a song or two for the moon lol. I was a weird kid that made alot of dumb decisions. There are a few moments where I would pay anything to go back and kick my own ass. Starting to fuck with opiates being one of them.

I'm close to 72 hours alcohol free (been a daily drinker for some time) and I gotta admit I am loving the herb right now. I'm having to smoke more but I'm less anxious and I'm not tired as fuck. Too bad I'm going to be taking a break from herb as well (going sober for awhilem gotta take care of some shit and make moves). Only other thing I am ingesting is some really nice quality kava paste.

Take a break man if you can. My buddy is doing this right now as a matter of fact. You'd be suprised what 1/2 weeks can do.
