Getting high on bupe

I've been on 4mg of bupe and wanted to do a lil chippin today so I didn't take my dose this morning and made a phone call but I didn't get an answer so I took my dose. 45 min later my friend calls and asks if I still wanted it I decided to get 90 mg of morph. My usual size shot is 45-60mg. I'm a typical junky and didn't want to wait for a day or two for the bupe to wear off so I decided to bang all 90mg to see if it would break through the bupe. To my suprise that shot dropped my ass it was the best shot I've had in a while besides the dilly/morph combo I had a few weeks ago Anyways the rush was great and the high has lasted like if I wasn't on bupe at all. Has anyone had this expierence with bupe before or am I just a lucky junky. I'm definitly not making a habit of doing this. I was hungover and felt like shit thats why I did it

That's exactly what I would've expected to happen. I just said it in the other bupe thread... I don't get blocking in that way. If I do some bupe I can get high on real drugs any time after that when I get some. Maybe it's different for people who take it every day for a long time... I don't know.

It's never blocked shit for me and I have never had precip wd's either. I have basicaly broken every bupe rule there is and had no bad side effects. The only thing bad to happen to me was quiting bupe cold turky at 8 mg a day. If I would of had a gun I would of shot myself after day 6. Most horrible anxiety attacks ever

bupe has never blocked me from having fun. Granted I never use any other ROA except for IV so maybe that has something to do with it.

Agreed. That would just be silly.

Bupe does block for me. For about 24 hrs. It really diminishes the effects for me so I wait as long as I can.

I've weened myself down to talking 1/2 of an 8 mg tex at a time. If I keep my daily dose <= 8 mg I've actually found it can sort of potentiate whatever other opiate(s) I use on top of it. Now if I were to take a full 16 mg does let's say at 8 am on Monday, I would not even bother trying to get high until at least 1-2 pm Tuesday. My doc told me because I take Lamictal for bipolar it can speed up the body's metabolism of bupe. I don't doubt it.

I have one other thought I figured I'd add since we're on the subject of bupe. Lately I notice that by spreading my doses out as far as possible, if I take the full 8 mg at once I get mildy euphoric and sometimes I can even get my nod on to an extent. This never used to happen but I can't say as I mind.

i was in re-hab earlier on today and a couple of people said that their subutex was no-way near as effective as what it used to be. ie-it doesn't "hold" them as long now.
ive been on 4mg a day for 9 months now and its just as strong today as it ever was.

when i crank(inject) 4mg i still get a right lovely buzz. it's took me 6 months to stop cranking them regularly and the only time i even think of injecting one is if i've had some gear the day before.

when i do want to "treat" myself to some smack, i allways try not to have any subbies that morning (to get the maximum hit i can).

i still have gear say once a month for upto 2-3 days in a row then just switch back to my subbies the morning after to no ill effect whatsoever.
i know some people have had problems, the further down the subutex road they go, but me personally, i still have had no problems. the day it starts to get hard is the day i'll probably start to get myself properly clean

i know the subutex rattle isn't pretty and some people laughed at me in re-hab when i said
"if my doctor was to turn round and say 'right that's it i'm stopping your subutex' i stated that i'd go back on the gear for a week, and just do a heroin rattle as opposed to a subutex rattle"

they[ppl in rehab] just looked confused.
i told them that that i was so familiar with rattling from heroin, that for me to take it for a week, to detox from the subs is the most painless way for me to do it
i think a few people understood then but i still got loads of blank/shocked faces

OMG i know!!! the anxiety and insomnia are what caused me to relapse every time i tried to get off of BUP. That shit is unbelievably terrible.

I've been under 1mg/day for months, it's hard to measure it, but I insufflate maybe half a match-length and it holds me for ~24hrs. I definitely feel it for awhile, sometimes nod (li'l valium, couple beers); at about 12 hours I start feeling mild wd and usually by 24hrs, my eyes are running and the sneezing comes and I get more and more anxious. It fucking sucks and it's been really hard to get under .5ish mg.. Especially when I'm in control of my pills and *I can fucking feel it* - hard to kick dope when you're constantly being teased with it..

Yeah I would have thought you could jump w/ only that much and the wd's wouldn't be that bad.....
That's how I did it and I was fine (weed helped like you wouldn't believe, of course I was smoking very half hour).

I can't feel shit from other drugs if I've taken bupe. The 1st time I used it when I got to under 2mg I got a good buzz but then started to use more or more offen and then couldn't feel shit.

Less is more w/ bupe.

I really think the ease of the "jump" is directly related to the length of time you've been on sub - like md, once you're hooked, you're in for the ride which is months, not days or weeks long like the toys that got us here..

Ya, herb helps, but it also makes me stupid and lazy.. There's gotta be some progressive medium between wanting to crawl out of my skin and being a fucking vegetable..

LE - did you find the lamictal also helped with cravings? i ask because i take it too and found it helps the cravings somewhat which i think more people might find subs more effective with this combo? sorry to meander off topic just curious
