Playing with coca.. a big mistake..!

Most of u guys know mamasou (me) from the papaver somniferum subforum.

Mamasou has a friend that played with the power of coca plant and the story goes like that:

His friend made coca paste from enaco coca leaves powder using simple extraction methods and ended up with super potent coca paste.

He did that for feeling better while trying to kick from opiates...

So he had been smoking the paste for 10 days or so with moderation..

Then, it was Friday.

He had been at work all day with little sleep from last night. But Friday night had a date with a sexy lady..

So he smoked some opium, drunk 3 espresso coffees and smoked some coca paste too at 6 in the evening.

At the time he smoked the paste he felt a bit weird like out of breath and pain in the chest for half an hour or so and it wasnt the first time he was having this feelling while on coke.

He had had the same unpleasent experience a few times before the last 3 days..

Anyway, he went to meet the lady at 11 at night for a drink out in a bar.

Feeling well at the time (although a bit turned on with the sexy lady!!) he had a wine and rolled a cigarrete on the bar..

By the time he started smoking the ciggarete something started going wrong. His heart sped up a bit and chest pain and breathlesness developed.

He said to the lady: "i have to go! my stomach is not very well.."

He took her to the taxis, rushed home, smoked opium as much as he could, took some with him and rushed to the emergencies on a nearby hospital immidiatelly.

His heart was pounding, he was out of breath and his chest felt like having 1000 kilos squeezing him on top...

He though death was imminent.

In the emergencies said to the doc what he felt and they put him down, heart monitoring him..

The doc asked him if he had taken anything..?

He said opiates and benzos...

The doc then said: "allright with all that.. but did you have any coke as well??".

And ofcourse he replied: "yeah i had a little bit at 6 in the evening"

The doc went on to say that it is a typical cocaine induced angina that can go to heart attack!

The doc gave him nitros, beta blockers and insisted that he should relax as much as possible and that they will take good care of him...

He stayed 3 days in the emergency room with constant monitoring, nitros and beta blockers.

He was lucky.. No damage to the heart.. But the next time he will use the coca it might be the last said the doc...

The story is true!

Cocaine can and will kill any people that are sensitive to the effects it has on the heart!

The possibility of having a heart attack the hour following cocaine use is 24 times the normal!!! And it doesnt mean that if you have just a little you are safe. It can still kick your ass ..

Mamasou's friend, had used on a single day, without any problems, 10x the amount of coca he used that Friday night that almost died...

But cocaine is very unpredictable..!


Coca is a powerful plant given as a gift to the people of the Andes. They respect it and use it in traditional ways.

These people are as special as their plant and they are given this gift to help them in difficult times.

It is by no means for use, by anyone else that will not respect it as the Andean people do!

If anyone rapes it with chemicals to reach the cocaine, the powers of this magnificent but unforgiving plant will turn against him!

So beware!

This plant has nothing to do with somniferum which can tolerate the stupidity of human a lot more...

Coca is a plant that can get very angry when not repected!



Ps: I dont look to scare anyone. Just wanted to share this experience with all of you.

Luckily I've never had any problems with coke via snorting / smoking, but I've never IV'd, and really have no desire to, as both sides of my family has high blood pressure and heart problems. I can just see me having a heart attack if I tried to IV it.

But, I have to disagree about the somniferum plant tolerating human stupidity. I know a lot of painkillers have been synthesized from the alkaloids in the plant, but I feel that opiates might still be legal if people had never isolated pure morphine from it. I think that brought in a worse era of drug addiction. If people had continued to use opium or poppy tea, then I think things would have gone down differently in the history of drug abuse.

There has been a swell in coke-related deaths over here recently.
And quite surprisingly too, a lot of the people that died from coke od's weren't even IV drug users. They would snort their coke and be dead within hours
I remember on one weekend this past winter there were three separate deaths - all very young (probably teenagers if i remember correctly) literally within a day or two of each other, so there has been a very strong media backlash over this. Then it all got even worse when another casualty - this young local model and a rather famous in this country personality had died after snorting some coke.
Naturally some people probably thought it was something that was added to the coke that caused all those deaths, but i think what they found was that it was just some good quality coke + in some cases pre-existing heart conditions.

The government here tried to make it look like they were doing something about it by forcing the cops work overtime on busting small time dealers. A lot of good that did, ofcourse - still more coke here than ever with no signs of any shortages.

Fuck coke, total waste of time IMO and destroys people much worse and faster than any opiate could ever dream of doing. On top of that the high lasts 2 minutes and then you're left with terrible anxiety, and heart pounding paranoia. From my life experience all the coke heads I knew were weasly, fuckin scum of the earth and really annoying, moody fucks. The only ones that were tolerable were the ones that kept themselves even with some kind of opiate. If you wanna mess with coke keep it at a cup of coca tea in the morning, other than that the shits not worth it. And whoever was objecting to plants not being sentient, they are living sentient beings, just on a much lower scale than any creature capable of movement. I also believe there is some form of life energy when ingesting natural drugs versus synthetics. Natural drugs like opium have all sorts of alkaloids that counter the bad side effects of the morphine and increase the good ones, making it much safer. All those alkaloids make the opium experience much richer and profound than plain isolated morphine. For example, thebaine gives you energy and counters the slowed breathing and drowsiness, papaverine is a muscle relaxant and offsets twitches from morphine and increase blood flow, noscapine increases the dreamy effect and is also a sigma agonist giving energy, fights depression and also increase breathing, and oripavine is a weak partial morpine agonist keeping tolerance in check. Nature is the best chemist out there.

Coronary spasm - angina - heart attack and sudden death at ages 18 - 45 is almost always related to cocaine use.

From mamasou's experience the high from pure coca paste when smoked lasts almost an hour but the rush is less than a minute. It is a profound experience to be honest. Just doesnt woth dying from it...

And it will hit you sometime with mathematical accuracy...

Also i believe that people do not die so often from coke cause simply they dont use it everyday and the coke they use is only around 10% pure most times.

i agree with jonny-5 about hating coke. although i never shot it, snorting it, as i got older, just became more and more stressful for me...i lost all the good qualities and just got super-paranoid, jittery and all that, so i don't fuck with it

i do have experience with "mate de coca" tea from the dominican neighborhoods down in the Bronx...i followed the instructions, though and instead of using one tea bag i used 4 and let it steep in boiling water for about fifteen minutes...results were very enjoyable as it felt like a smoother, cleaner version of coffee...no crash either which surprised me, although i would suspect taking it orally, and as the whole plant material probably helped this...

you're quite right: when u start extracting the cocaine out, u disturb the natural balance of the plant that God made, so u abandon the rest of the alkaloids that probably even out the over-stimulation..

Interesting. Like you said, it's a legend. I highly doubt this is totally accurate though, as the Inca and other Andean cultures knew about coca and its effects long before the Spanish came. Well, not about how addictive isolated cocaine would be, but you know what I mean. They knew it provided energy and increased breathing in the thin air of the Andes long before the European invasion.

The thing that makes me wonder is how a drug that can be so hard on the heart is consumed by these people in these high altitudes?

I came to believe that the Andean people are indeed diffrent from the white (caucasian) and that their system can tolereate and use Koka much better.

Personally, I know im sensitive/weak and even chewing on the leaves can make my heart struggle (due to coronary constriction).

But I have heard that these people conume large amounts every day chewing the leaves.

They must have very strong hearts..

Also living at such high altitudes must have contributed to an overall more tolerant/strong circulatory/heart system.

I have a fair amount of Enaco powdered leaves left and i tried a very little amount (1/2 teaspoon) with calcium bicarbonate...

I kept it in my mouth for 5 min and had all the effects of Koka (stimulation, higher respiratiomn rate, higher heart rate, clear mind...)

but...

.. also had a fair amount of coronary constriction...

which after my E.R. adventure I know excactly how it feels... and counter-acted it immediately with sublingual nitroglycerin spray

So, simply, Koka is not for me Im aifraid

Right now im smoking my opium which i know i can tolerate (althougfh being dependent and constipated isnt a happy situation, but at leats i will not die..)

So if anyone has suspicions of a sensitive heart just stay clear of the drug.

Which of course I, who I knew all these beforehand, didnt follow...

Today, probably because i was full of alprazolam and diazepam and there is a hellish shortage of heroin in central Scotland just now, i was persuaded to buy a half of a sixteenth of an ounce of crack.
The first few pipes brought back the good memories but now i am sitting having run a large rock down the foil and feel like my heart is going crazy... not beating but fluttering... I have just had to take a handful of benzos, like 6mg alprazolam, 30-40mg diazepam, and 36mg bromazepam oh yeah and two or three 2mg Rivotrilos as well... hoping to feel a bit better. The stuff is just so 'more-ish' that even feeling like this I fancy a line from the foil... what am I, some sort of bloody fool, playing with fire that's burnt me bad before? I'm 50 now, no teen; no sense either so it would seem. I blame the shortage, drought even, of heroin round here. everybody - almost everybody - is RATTLING like God knows what and resorting to mixes of opioids like dihydrocodeine and benzos. Methadone has never been in greater demand. WHY did I take the cocaine? I am stupid.
Has my brain gone soft?
Do others do the same in similar circumstances? Is there a drought of proper heroin anywhere else? THAT would be nice to know. Is there any part of the UK where there is actually good quality skag?

In that situation one should take as benzos as he can AND some nitroglycerin to counteract the constricting effect of cocaine.

I have Nitrolingual Spray.

In the UK or other parts might have another or similar name. It can save your life!

No mate.. You are just a desperate sucker like I was. I knew everything about the heart related dangers of cocaine and had an existing heart condition.

Still I used it to counteract the dull feeling of kicking from opium...

The result: 3 days in th E.R. and back to the opium use I was...

No worries. We are just desperate jacks!
