in palmbeach county florida they throw you in a cell and laugh
if you look **real** sick, they throw you in "detox cells"
which is the same as a regular single-person cell except NOTHING IN IT
no matress, no running water/sink, no bedroll/sheets/pillow,
no shoes, no towel, no jail clothes, no underwear
they give you a paper gown and let you shiver and wait it out
after 24 hrs of that, you aren't thinking about dope
all you want to do is lay down not on concrete under a scratchy blanket!!!
that shit alone sounds like heaven on earth
so it's best to pretend you're ok even if you really want to die in pbc

if you come in pregnant and hooked on opiates, even illegal ones
they HAVE to take you to the methadone clinic daily at their expense
because coming off opiates (even slow) can kill the baby
and then you can sue their fuck asses right off

Did anywhere in my post say that I KNEW FOR A FACT SHE WAS COMING OFF OPIATE W/D??? i have no idea the exact amount, or drugs she was coming off of, i know one was methadone (but not sure of all the others, just knew that when she first came in she was talkin to herself and all wobbly pounding on the glass saying she was going to get a seizure. which rightt here made me think she might be coming off benzos too, probably xanax since those have a hhifgher rate for seizures when withdrawing.THE CO's ingnored her. I was in a dorm with like 40 women. YOU DONT THINK ANYONE WAS TRYING TO HELP HER??? Once we're in there all we got is eachothers dusty asses to look out for one another. we gave her our meals and our clean clothes/towels THats all we did someone would stay up-- another inmate-- take shifts at night and check on her help the poor thing out. THE CO's GAVE A FUKIN DAMN about how sick she was. Next thing I knew I woke up in the morning to STU ( its what we called him, i forget his formal "CO NAME") to saying real loud WE NEED ASSISTANCE IN HERE GET MEDICAL. The lady was on the ground, not breathing and that was the only glimpse i could see of her before they evacuated me and everyone in there(they were the dorms that havew 3 reaally big upstairs/downstairs glass windows, control center in the middle Dorm A,B,C, etc...), so before i could hear more they evacuated us out of their REAL QUICK and put us all in a different place which hadnt been used in a LONG time and was HAUNTED (but thats a different story) I never got to stick around like a god damn reporter and ask questions to find out specifics and for fuks sake OF COURSE I TRIED HELPING HER WTF your post made me really upset i think you need to think before you open your mouth just because your gorgeous as fuk doesnt mean you can have vomit of the mouth!!!!!!!! All I know is that if she had gotten some medical attention she would probably have 99% made it, the story made newspapers it was so FUCT up. i'm pathetic and you despise me huh?
i'm 7 1/2 months pregnant and have been clean since i found out about it (feb)
i was told by 2 different drs that if i tried to kick the h while preg
then baby would die or be fucked up somehow
so i went on methadone back in feb and have used h a grand total of ONCE since my first dose
no coke, no booze, no pain pills, no benzos, no crystal, no anything
i still smoke weed but not a lot, and cut down on my cig habit
i go to the dr regularly and since i have had ABSOLUTELY ZERO COMPLICATIONS
i have been moved from the "high risk pregnancy" category to "low risk"
in other words, this baby is 100% healthy because i took responsiblity

we was talking about jailhouse w/d and if the screws do anything for ya
so i said that if you are preggo, they are obligated to by law
i'd appreciate it if you listened to folks before calling them pathetic or whatever
shit, if ya still want to hate me, feel free- no skin off my ass
