Tonights episode was by far the best one. I agree DF the show is growing on me as well. Big fan of big love on hbo.

u know, since I had liked The Wire a whole lot--me and Flip were always posting on that, and she *knows* Baltimore, too, and I half-ass liked the Sopranos, so only reason I keep HBO is for those two shows, and Sopranos is no more....but I had high hopes for JFC, and liked first episode, second o.k., third I didn't like all that much, but *fourth* tonight, I thought was really cool...Kind of reminds me of Carnivale, where sometimes they'ed just throw all kinds of shit in there...see what worked....

Anyway, I was just sort of half-ass watching this episode tonight, when it came on at 6 pm, will catch it again at 9 p.m. since I think this one was really good, like u said, maybe the best one so far...looks like they're starting to pull it together a bit, too, rather than just keep throwing weird shit at us...so tonight I started to get a feeling maybe it's going to be allright...and u know, of course, I like Butchie, since he is *so* one of us...

Tonight, in a corny ass way, it reminded me of Opiophile, like everybody fighting all the time, but still, they got the *love* man hahahaha LOL

Anyway, at 9 p.m. PT, I'm going to check out again, try to pay attention... l

Yeah...I've kind of become a fan of HBO specials...I mean, I don't like *all* of'em...but I like idea, that they can make t.v. in serials that are intereting again....sure, they miss a lot, but still, every once in a while, they get it right...I thought The Wire was excellent! And it's coming back, too, I believe...

But ur going to like tonight's episode. I mean, I went into this one all hopeful. And like I say, it reminded me of Carnivale, where it seemed to be throwing all kinds of weirdass shit at us, but I was determined to hang in there, and get a feel for it...Now, I'm an *avid* bodysurfer...one of reasons I moved back out to southern california--besides being near Mom--was because I liked catching big waves, and Ocean Beach, where I live, has good break...and we are just a few miles *north* of Imperial Beach, where this movie takes place. I swim daily, where there are no waves...so for a dopefiend beach bum, u can see why I like the movie, and particularly Butchie, who's fucked up relationship w/just about everybody is something I can relate to..tho I'm a lot more easygoing, I guess, but he's a stone cold self-destructive thro-it-all-away hype...like me ;-)

I won't spoil it for u, but tonight, they started pulling some things together, and it was a good episode, u'll like it....!!!
