MMDA

MMDA= 3-Methoxy-4,5-methylenedioxyamphetamine

I'm really, really interested in this compound. It's mildly psychedelic with open eyes, and even a bit sedating.

BUT- with closed eyes, it produces profoundly real "mind movies"

It's made from myristicin, the stuff that gets you high when you down nutmegs (not that I've done this) like crazy.

Shulgin says that Myristicin + Ammonia = 3-Methoxy-4,5-methylenedioxyamphetamine

does he mean that by reacting the two you get the other, or that the only thing seperating the two is the presence of an ammonia group or something?

Hi Hammilton, I read the synth on Erowid and
it souds to me like M + A = MMDA.
But as I have said before I'm no chemist.
Sounds like interesting stuff though.:)

Years ago I knew a college student that made some pretty good mmda. Not as good as the stuff from the 80's but it wasn't bad at all. That guy was nutty. I have no idea what ever happened to him. I don't think he was a chem student. He just liked to mess around. He was smart.

Don't feel bad I haven't found anything good for years either. I don't think it's me either because I did get off great on a tab I found about 7 years ago. I'm sure there is still some good stuff around but most of it is pretty lame from what I've seen. Sorry to be a geezer but the shit we used to get in the eighties was amazing. It was even legal when I first found some.
