Anyone see this film? Its kind of a meth-user tragic comedy and its pretty fucked up. One of the funniest bits is where the guy is so psyched he can get a hard-on and his girlfriend thinks she can actually take a shit. And he's like "baby, I haven't been this hard in months" and she's like "please, please I think I can actually shit".

LOL - Can you believe I watched it on a plane on my 17 inch laptop - onlookers couldn't hear it but there was a hell of a lot of total nudity and shitloads of drug use.

SPUN it is.....I saw it in the theater with a couple dudes who lived in a 3/4 house with me. 1 was a former "chef" who kept correcting little details and the other dude was a gay hairdresser who ended up relapsing the next evening. Being a dopefeind, I found it hysterical.

It was also cool to see ICP on the tv in one scene.......

And yes, people were looking at the screen, especially the guy next to me during the scene when dude tied that naked chick to the bed.

REmember when Ross was tweaking so bad he tied up APril in that motel room and basically forgot about her...then "Big Joan" played by Deborah Harry , "rescued" her, and bitched her out basically?

That was fucked up cause Ross straight forgot about her ass for like 3 days!!!!

classic lines from that movie, I'll tell ya: Cook, Mickey Rourke, was the best though, funny as all hell.

to Nikki's character (Brittany Murphy) "....why don't you come over here so i can fuck your little ass proper..."

remember that hispanic dude and those 2 chix in the gas station that he always slaps around, and then that dude gets his ass whipped both times, first by the cook, and teh second time its by the lesbian chick who was ross's lanlord....hilarious movie it was....ive got it on my computer....ive also got drugstore cowboy...anyone seen that one? its superb....

I'm kinda surprised that so many members here love Spun. I always think of people that like opiates, not liking speed. It's the opposite side of the fence, ya know?

The first time I tried to watch it I was really high on roxi's and it was pissing the shit out of me. My mind was on "slow mode" and all that fast editing was just ruining my high. I eventually watched it and it was enjoyable. I still hate uppers drugs and speed freaks though. I just don't get why people enjoy all the anxiety and ohh THE CRASH. Don't even get me started....:D

My speed days are long gone (although I did chew up some adderall recently sniffed a bunch of C last year, I really don't like tweaking too hard though..) but I thought Spun was pretty good. I gauge dope movies by accuracy and I thought there was a lot of reality in that movie.

Drugstore Cowboy is a fucking classic. Gus Van Sant is brilliant and the Burroughs cameo just makes that movie golden..

It's "SPUN" man! But yeah I have and honestly it's a good movie. Deserves two thumbs up. One thing I really like about it is the effects on the film, light exposure, 'speedy' effects. Damn good.

I don't like meth, nor would I ever try it, however that doesn't mean I don't like movies about it..
