Damn Darvocets

I went to the Dr today and was telling him about he having severe headaches,well I'm already into WD's so I'm thinking hell even a few vics would due,,well he said well I'll give you some loratabs I thought yes then he writes out a script and says this is actually something different and it should help your headaches well i get excited thinking he might be giving some real good stuff,i didn't look at the script right there cause i didn't wanna look obvious so i get out to my car and look at it and low & behold it's a damn script for darvocets I about shit my pants thinking what the fuck is these gonna do for me.Hopefully tey might help with some wd's...Does anyone know how to get any good use out of these..I took 4 and not feeling a thing pain reliefe or anything.If anyone has any good ideas how to potentiate these I would greatly appreciate it.....Thanks All

sorry to hear you got Darvocet. I never liked the fucking things, even before I had a tolerance.

The only advice I can give you is be careful with them, as propoxyphene metabolizes into some nasty (and potentially fatal) stuff. Keep in mind we're talking somewhat large quantities to get the toxic effects, but it ain't worth pushing it.

It doesn't help they have a boatload of APAP in them, either.

Then she'd call a day or two later and say they didn't work. That's what I recommend.

I've not met anybody who agreed, but I always thought darvocets were allright for kicking, compared to viks. Maybe because their main ingredient is propoxyphene, some sort of distant cousin to methadone. But I'd eat 4 of'em, and wash'em down with a beer, and usually felt a little better.

I mean, when things would get tough, me and my old lady would always run from our huge dilaudid habit, up in Louisiana, and head down to the border, in Brownsville TX, about 12hrs away, and cop a mess of mexican neo-percodans, which were *also* propoxyphene, which is main ingrediant in darvocet, and we'ed get allright.

I don't recommend it, of course, but we always would eat 4 or 5, and wash'em down w/alcohol of some sort, and we'd be reasonably happy. Went for long periods on them sick-ass pills. My old lady would dance in Camichins, down on Elizabeth St., which was the only topless bar in Brownsville, at the time, and would fill up w/border guards we'd see when we'ed go re-up down in Matamoros. Teresa'd dance, I'd get the pills and beer. Seemed like a fair enough trade to me ;-)

Darvocete make good trash can filler. If you take enough to get
high on youve probably taken enough to fuck up your liver
or kidneys. The things are dangerous. Find another doctor
this one sounds like an idiot. And like Nick said call back in
a couple days and say these aint doing it.

I can get my script Friday for my DOC so I guess I'll have to use these things to try and keep the WD's at bay...Been buying Poppy Seeds but they have been about worthless and I was able to get Pods from a craft store but they quit selling them.Sorry about the bitching,but this is the only place I can vent about this...Thanks all for listening...Those of you that has your DOC do some for me as well :D

The only time Ive had Darvocets do anything (besides make my glands swell from a tylenol od) was when taken to try to boost tramadol. All it did was add a deep relaxed more like a true opiate feeling to the tram. But this was subtle and short lived. I suggest ordering some tram online.

i remember those... my step dad got those alot and never used them. i was refilling the 20 darvo script every 3 days. docs and pharms never said anything. i paid cash.

i had to use those when i ran out my norcos... i would take anywhere from 7-14 in a 24 hour period.

i know it was a stupid thing to do. getting 20 every 3 days, that was a shitload of darvos.

that was about a year ago, and my liver is still kicking fine. (NOT saying people should use that many tho) it was a stupid thing to do. but then again, we are talking about drugs arent we?

my old family doc thats now retired used to give me just darvon, instead on darvocet, since darvon has no APAP. at the time, she was also giving me norco 10s and tylanol 3s. atleast i could mix em all....ltr on i moved back to ms contin and others stuff like oxyfast and fent lollipops which im on now with ms contin.
