Hello all you crazies, I just obatined 30mg codesian phosphate pills (no apap or acetiminophen, just codeine) and Tramadol 100mg ampoules (for injection). My question is I have been trying to take a break from my suboxone (1mg daily) and I am trying to use codeine and tramadol as a way to get away from subs for atleast a while. The suboxone makes me feel like shit and grouchy and a complete basket case. I want to know if tramadol IM or IV and codeine phosphate pills will be okay together? Im not sure about their interactions and if they will be safe together.

I have been trying to get off of suboxone for months now and I just cant seem to get over this last 1mg a day habit. I have tried to just stop cold turkey, but I cannot work and will get fired from my job with the 2 week detox I need to go thru to get off of suboxone. Its funny, I personally thought that codeine was stronger than suboxone but as much codeine I take I still feel like I am w/d'ing from the subs. I am just starting to think about going on methadone to kill all my craving's but want to keep that as a last resort. I know jacky will have info on this subject, PLEASE, any advice will be greatly appreciated.I am starting to feel like I am loosing it all together.

I appreciate all you people here, especially the great friends I have aquired thru this site, Thank you to Bi11i, Jacky, SomniGod and definitley Paesan. You guys are my brothas and true friends. :) :party-smi

Sincerely, Shaun

If it was me, I'd try experimenting with just a little at first to see how they interact with each other. Neither one alone will do much for me, but maybe the two together would have a better impact. If you find that it works, please and by all means let us all know.

I am starting to feel like I am loosing it all together...

By the way, that's "losing", just one "o". That drives me nuts why every other person wants to spell the word "lose" with two "o"s!

Remember, some guys "lose" their virginity to a "loose" woman.

Sorry, it just drives me crazy!

Thanks GM, I actually do know the difference between lose and loose, it was just late and I am typing on my buddies laptop that SUCKS. Thanks for the info though, I will try them together and let you know how it goes.

BE CAREFUL WITH TRAMADOL. IT CAUSES SEIZURES! I have been in the hospital on three separate occasions because of gran mal seizures from high-dose (250-300mg at a time) tramadol.

BE CAREFUL WITH TRAMADOL. IT CAUSES SEIZURES! I have been in the hospital on three separate occasions because of gran mal seizures from high-dose (250-300mg at a time) tramadol. As important as this info is, I'd like to also note that this symptom occurs only in certain individuals (or the threshold majorly differs from person to person.) I ate the stuff like candy. Sometimes 30 or more pills a day, but never did I have any seizures. This isn't to say you should head on out over the deep end and overdo it, just my $.02...
