I'll be in the danger zone soon, meaning out of my main supply of my fave DOCs, Fentanyl and OC and luckily have Tramadol and Valium for backups thank goodness! I know it's not OC or Fent but atleast I don't have to binge drink my way out of W/D.

Anyways, I've taken tramadol in excess before, meaning beyond the 400mg a day, hell I've taken 500-600mg doses like three times in one day without any seizure worries. However, I don't suggest this at all because some people are prone to seizures more than others, I guess I'm not one of them but it is definitely dangerous and I suggest everyone else stay under the 400mg a day because I've heard too many horror stories of Grand-Mal seizures.

Anyways, enough with my rambling, I'm going to be doing a temporary detox soon until I can score my DOCs again next week and I'll be using Tramadol to suffice this madness for a few days. The only real side effect I've had from tramadol which was a negative was hand tremors and just overall jitters in my body. Seeing that I've taken large doses of tramadol before, would it be safe for me to take high doses in conjunction with valium to counteract the jitters and wouldn't this as well lower the seizure threshold from the diazepams effects?

I'm def not a tramadol hater, in my younger days it got me high and friends who I give it to even recently catch a buzz on it (the ones with no tolerance) and even in high doses it does give me a nice uplifted mood and a pseudo synthetic buzz almost similar to a speedy methadone in my opinion.

Just wanted to know if raising the dose to a high one with valium should help prevent the seizure threshold. I've heard of people taking insane doses when coming off of H, scag, dia, whatever with clonazepam and being completely free from W/D so I figured valium/diazepam would have a similar effect since it would essentially get rid of any jitters and tremors which are light pre-cursors to possible seizures.

Anyone with any info about this, speculation or experience, I would like to here from ya. Please reply below. Took my last large dose of OC about an hour ago and dread what may be coming even though I should be getting re-supplied within a few days I hate bearing any W/D. Anyways, give me your thoughts fellow opiophiles! :)

I would get the trembling feeling when I did between 300 & 400 mgs. of Trams then I started to take a 1mg of K-pin with them and didn't notice any trembling or any of the other side effects of trammies at the high of dosage also felt like I even got a nice little buzz with the combo could of been placebo effect but doubt it never really felt a buzz off of trams.I added the K-pin for the same reason as to balance everything out..IMO your actually be safer adding the benzo with the trams...Good Luck

I take WAY MORE TRAMADOL THAN THAT and I'v never had a seizure. Some people aren't prone to siezures. As for the Valium, I'd only take that at night and use the Tramies for during the day. They'll give you energy and at night the valium will help you sleep.

i am in the same situation as you. i just ran out of meds... ugh

to answer your question, i believe the answer is yes. benzos stop/prevent seizures (among other things). as i mentioned in another thread, SWIM's w/d 'medicine' is 'Xamadol' (Xanax and Tramadol) and it works great. since you have Valium, yours could be 'Vamadol'! (or Tramium!) :)

but then again, SWIM only takes ~200mg of Tramadol at a time, and usually never exceeds 400mg in a day.

now give me your soul. :sandm:

good luck getting through it insp. i'm no health care professional, but i would say that i wouldn't see a problem with you doing the trams w/ valium. it is one of the most used benzos for seizure disorders, and almost always the one used to bring people out of extended grand mal seizures.

and GofRats is right... use those valiums at night so you can sleep! unless, of course, you have plenty enough of 'em to use whenever. here's hoping that it's not too long till you can re-up!
