ANyone else catch this flick yet, I saw it yesterday, and I am smart enough to know that Miuchael Moore's rhetoric is NOT gospel, howeve,r he does rasie good points and ideas for people to look into, however this mone ywas great.

As a doc is was somewhat slow-moving I should say, but at the end I was ready to either puch someone or cry, not only do you see how our INSURED are treated in this country, but we see how poeple are cared for in other countries, it is scary also he dispells the myths of governement has to say about socialized medicine not working...

I'm probably going to see it this weekend. More and more I feel that the HMO system is worse than socialized medicine....and, as someone who lived in the UK for 2 1/2 years I've seen both sides of the argument.

Not a big fan of the guy and I probably won't see the movie until it is free. I always find it questionable that filmmakers like Gibson and Moore and Gore continue to make money off of their films that they think are so important long after they have recouped their investments and made small fortunes even.

If they believe so strongly in the causes behind their movies you would think that they would want them to be seen on tv so everybody could see them. It just leads me to believe that they consider their own personal gains to be more important than the cause they are telling everyone else to believe in.

I'm certainly not anti capitalism. Keeps the wheels turning for sure. It just seems that if their cause was so important that they could live without the 2nd hundred million.

I have never been a fan of the government having a lot of control of anything really. In general competition and greed produce better product and value than beuracraticly run businesses.

The skyrocketing oppressive and draining costs of medicine in this country are becoming an enormous burden to both individuals and our society in general. It is certainly time to consider all our options in this matter before the aging baby boomers really put some pressures on the already struggling system.

It's a shame that our perverted political system is going to be such a hinderance to any reasonable discussion about how to address the issues. A lot of money behind the guys who want to keep things the way they are and politicians need money to get elected so you do the math.

I really don't know if gov't controls are the answer but costs are out of control and it's gonna keep getting worse. It's a very daunting problem to be sure.

I really think Michael Moore is good and bad. He's definitely good because we're all talking about this stuff. He's created a discussion.

I think Moore uses a lot of outlandish methods to get his point across. Sometimes it's ridiculous and sometimes insightful. He's always controversial though and he never minces words. Everything is straight for the jugular. He has his opinions and he forces them on screen. My problem is that he always has an agenda and he never lets the documenary speak for itself. I think you have to be open minded when you decide to make a documentary like this. I don't agree with everything Moore says, but I do think he's talented.

I've never lived in England, France, or Canada so no first hand experience here. From what i understand of socialized heathcare there can be very long waits for non-emergency surgery. That would suck. I imagine that's why Elton John and his friends come to th U.S.

I asked because there is a real hatred out there for michael Morre . The thing i cant understand is why. Especially the middle class. He fights for us. The only thing hes done is expose the hipocracy of our government and shows that 1 % of the world controls 99% of the wealth. He doesnt go after pot heads or opium heads for that matter. He goes after crooked insurance companies that refuse us our operations and c.e.o.s that lay us off and move the plant down to mexico. In this movie he gets 911 rescurers who they refused(our government)medical treatment to. What did this guy do execpt piss off some rich asshole companies that screw us every day. I guess we know where you stand. And by the way your not even close to the 1% . . Im a hard working guy as well (average 50 hrs per week)and do well for myself but 10 years ago i was doing better. I cant get health insurance in this state because of a pre existing condition. The average wage for the working class has decreased 20% since 1980. 75 million people without insurance(middle class Working people. One day i hope nothing like this happens to u . In this country right now the chances are pretty good it might.

I forgot to add the distance between the rich and the middle class in this country has never been wider. The republicans dont care about you unless u make 200,000 a year or are a big wig that contributes to there campaign. Its not mind control a**hole its putting kids in debt in college for tens of thousands of dollars so he has to work the rest of his life to pay it back. We have people in this country who have to work until they die so they can pay for there meds or supplemental insurance. 70 and 80 year old people working at wal mart for 6.00 an hour just to make ends meet. We are the first generation to do worse than our parents. Dont say its laziness or any other bullshit like that. How is someones grandmother supposed to live on 700 a month in s.s. with a 300 dollar drug bill or the 20 percent they still have to pay with medicaid

I guess we know where you stand. And by the way your not even close to the 1% . . Im a hard working guy as well (average 50 hrs per week)and do well for myself but 10 years ago i was doing better. I cant get health insurance in this state because of a pre existing condition. The average wage for the working class has decreased 20% since 1980. 75 million people without insurance(middle class Working people. One day i hope nothing like this happens to u . In this country right now the chances are pretty good it might.

We are the first generation to do worse than our parents. Dont say its laziness or any other bullshit like that. How is someones grandmother supposed to live on 700 a month in s.s. with a 300 dollar drug bill or the 20 percent they still have to pay with medicaid

How you can propose taking a trillion-dollar industry and handing it over to the government, while still calling it "limited", is beyond me.
