METHYLPHENIDATE PATCHES ARE IN THE SAFE!

Hey y'all, my spouse takes methylphenidate in patch form, which is a pretty new thing - it's been out on the market a couple months. In the past, we have had problems with the methylphenidate tablets being "spilled" or "lost" or "accidentally thrown in the trash can right when the trukc is driving away." YOu get the picture. So now, (this was MY idea) we got a combination lock safe do none of those yummy methylphenidate chewing gum packs get dissappeared for no reason.

I just want a few of them like 3 or 4 - I ain't gonna lie and say I want only 1 of them. Each one of these patches contains 55mg of methylphenidate base. Probably could smoke the gel stuff, probably could mix it with a tiny amount of vinegar and heat real good with a few cc's of H20 and slam the stuff too. I like to just roll up the patch thingy and chew on it like it's chewing gum. Has a very nice chemical drug taste. Even makes your mouth numb like cocaine does!

I have been looking around the house for the emergency key that they give you when you buy the safe, it's to open it if the combination lock electronics fail or something, or the batteries go completely out (it's a little electronic keypad where you type the numbers for the combination).

She goes into the safe once in the morning, to get out one patch for that day, and leaves it open only while she's holding the box of patches. she marks on the box which patch it was for that day, to keep a record. Then, once she has a little envelope with one patch in it in her hand she closes it up.

sometimes, in the evening, it gets opened if she is taking some of the Lunesta 3mg that's also in there.

O.K. - Does anyone know of how I could get into that safe?

I was thinking of creating a distraction while she has it open in the morning - something that she has to go do right away. So then I'd have time to run upstairs and grab a couple of the packets while it's open. I could say something like "oh my God, look at what ___ (our kid) is doing! Its soooooo funny!" or call on the phone saying it's her doctor and he needs to talk to her right now because he's getting on a plane or something.

any ideas? I know some of you all have had experience with this type of situation - stealing drugs which are kept in a locked area in your house.

Just find a good doctor bro. However, you could always try the fluroscent ink idea. Spray some glow in the dark shit on something she touches before she touches the safe, then check out the safe. The #'s in the combo will be lit. See if they represent anything familiuar. However man, you got a fucking girl. You should be focusing on making her happy, not jacking her stimulants. Worst case, stage a robbery and drill the safe. hah.

What I was asking about ideas for breakin in to the drug safe was indeed "pathetic" and "sad" so I can understand what you were thinking from reading my initial post. I guess it came across as "YOU (Zoop, which is not my real name) are pathetic, dude." "you are pathetic, dude" And that is where the reaction came from.

so anyways, yeah, I'm glad that shit is in a safe, locked up tight. I been swipin' a few of these patches here and there for a couple months and she has gotten a little confused about where they went - just running out too soon. Knowing I am a hardcore drug addict, she naturally looks right to me asking what happened to them. My plausible explanation was that the little pouches the patches come packaged in might have been sticking together. Each patch comes in a nice plastic pouch that has to be sliced open at the top for pulling out the patch for application. Well, I think it's plausible that she was inadvertently pulling out two's of individual pouch packages and only pulling a new one out from one of the two stuck-together patches, while discarding the other one (because she wasn't aware that there were two pouches stuck together). It actually DID happen once and she caught it, but the packets are very thin, about the thickness of magazine paper, and they often have static electric fields about them, which pulls them together - you hear a slight crackling when separating two packets sometimes.

I guess the two-stuck-together hypothesis was good enough to establish reasonable doubt that I was indeed the person who is responsible for there being not enough patches in the box.

Let me reiterate. She is cool at this point. AT THIS POINT. Actually, I'm quite pleased with how the medication is affecting her behavior (sorry Brits and New Zealanders! I'm spelling it the 'Merrican way, dammit!) ADD / ADHD are both overdiagnosed in the U.S.A. and in Europe and in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, S.Korea and Japan too for that matter, but it is definitely a real phychiatric condition, a mental illness in the strictest sense.

When a kid or adult who actually has ADD or ADHD is given a psychostimulant drug (which one works best depends on the patient's brain chemistry, their metabolism, their personality even, and also things like the patients' willingness to follow dosing instructions must be assessed - like is the patient disciplined enough to take a pill three times a day, and always remember not to take the last one before 4pm?) - oh, yes, where was I? ummm, Aha! When an individual who has ADD or ADHD is given an effective dose of a drug such as dextroamphetamine, methylphenidate, amphetamine/dextroamphetamine salts mixture, or even methamphetamine, they totally change the way information is processed from reading listening to someone talk, or performing tasks. They will even write differently. It's astounding.

Problem is that you get similar effects with these type drugs if you DON"T have ADD and you take a little. People have been popping capsules of amphetamines in their coffee at late night college final exam study sessions since probably the early 1900's (I think amphetamine was invented prior to 1900, but I could be wrong. - if they weren't getting wired on amphetamine, it was definitely cocaine!). It ALWAYS eventually stops working and continued doses of the drug will start to have very bad effects on the psyche and body (esp. cardiovascular) of the user.

So I'm glad when the wife is on the stuff and it's locked up so I can't get to it. If'n she leaves the used one in the trash, it's good for about a 90 min. speedy coke-y buzz. Not so intense I want to go rob an old lady to get more money when I come down, but it's a decent buzz.

(eyes dart back and forth) - (whispering)... the lady said "why don't you put that little collection of fancy silver coins you have just sitting in a cardboard box in my safe? " I said "sure, but I don't wanna know the combination or anything." O.K., so she takes the drugs out the safe and leaves me in the room while I'm putting my silver coins in it. What do you know, I find the extra "combination lock override" key sitting right there in the safe. So I put that into my pocket and then put all my coins in there and close it up." she got mad because she had to re-open it with the combination 'cos she had to put her drugs back in. Well, she took the little one to a playground he likes, and I used the "emergency key" to open up the safe and make sure a few "stuck" to each other on their way out the box. Put the key back inside there where it was supposed to be too.

You need to do an extraction (vineager or soemthing stronger, perhaps) on each one, every day, and then after a week you'll have a good amount of MPH in solution. Evaporate it- and then BAM- you got MPH Base you can smoke. Tell me how it goes. I kinda wish I had those Concerta tabs still. They're "abuse proof" unless you''re smart enough to figure out which end the drug comes out of and snort what you get out of it. whammo!

Upon reconsideration, I have decided that yes, it is indeed quite sad and pathetic that a man who claims to love his good lady wife, would steal her ADD medication (even though its' basically cocaine in patch form as far as I'm concerned - I know they're chemically different, but subjectively, I get almost the same effects - methylphenidate lasts slightly longer).

IT IS PATHETIC TO STEAL DRUGS FROM FAMILY MEMBERS. AGREED. But it is a classic textbook sign and symptom of drug addiction/dependence. I admit it, I got the disease. That is more than some people aorund here are willing to admit. And I actually do certain things to keep this disease from being in it's full-blown active state. Meetings (AA), keeping in touch with other folks like me who are in the program, but have similar views on stuff like this (a "network" if you will, of like-minded addicts), and regular, disciplined prayer. I pray like a Muslim, but I am not a Muslim. These things help. Also, having responsiblities which it would be very dangerous to fail (child, work, wife) tends to help it going into full-tilt boogy mode as far as drug-taking is concerned.

Well, it has not happened again for a couple of months (stealing any of these daytrana patches), because (and dont' tell me there's no God) she can't friggin take the stuff anymore. As it has before, every single time she decides to go back on ritalin, or any stimulant they use for treating ADD, the drug causes really painful neck spasms and her TMJ gets aggravated. So, she has not seen fit to use it for weeks and weeks. By the time she opens up the safe again to (maybe this won't happen ever) see how many is in there (only a couple are left out of 30 - of which maybe she used 7 - I used the rest), it will have been so long since it was originaly filled that I am pretty sure she won't bat an eylelid or remember how many it was supposed to be.

Well, today, I have a appointment with a shrink (new shrink) who, if Allah wills it, prescribe me focalin. I went in and conned him that I got ADD and have been receiving meds for it on and off since pre-adolescence. It's NOON right now and I gotta wait six whole mutherfucking hours! Ugg! The appointment is at 6:00pm today.

First, before the shrink appointment, I have to see a regular doctor and bring a note to them that the shrink wrote. When the shrink took my BP in his office during my original visit, my BP was high, which it always is when I am in a doctor's office lying through my teeth in order to get some drugs. Also, I take BP medicine, but forgot to take it that day! DAMN! He straight up told me, "I was getting ready to write you up a prescription for focalin, because you're PERFECT candidate for treatment - you have attention deficit disorder of the inattentive type, but then I though, maybe that slightly high blood pressure is an issue and you ought to have that checked out by another physician before we move ahead with stimulant treatment." FUCK.

Well today's the day. I am going to try my best to get some sonatas or ambiens or lunestas out of this deal too. He is a dick if he don't give me some Rx for a sleep aid if I say I got trouble sleepin sometimes.

Yeah, man, finally getting my OWN scrip for some stims. Got a Rx for #30 of Focalin XR 10mg on Thursday, was completely out by Friday mid-morning. Got some work done during the night (at my job). Was trying to slam these things, but it was not working well.

Tiny tiny while balls inside the capsules, the capsules are only about half-full with these particles. So, with a mortar and pestle, I pulverized the little white balls into a white powder. Usual pill shootin procedure from there, but soon as you heat up the water/drug mixture in teh cooker, it starters to jelly-fy and then try and filter that and get it into a hype! Fuck! Fuck!. I hear this happens with MS Contin and Oxycontin. too. How to you get around it. I found the best deal with this shit is to sniff the fine white powder made from crushing upt he little balls inside the caps (after wasting about 25 of the capsules on trying to inject them. I was getting some of it into my system this way, but no huge rush like I get from slamming just plain Ritalin IR tabletss)

i have stolen meds form people, hell i stole percs and vicodins from my first sponser, i was in the grips of an addiction and i was really dope sick at the time, sometimes drunk too. go buy some meth if u want it that bad. meth should be ava there. or go to a doc. just read up . u sound like u allready did . so u kno what to say. and if somethings locked up, and still comes up missing they are going to kno whats up, esp if its a control II and its logged. and the meds are making her pay attn 100 times better than if she didn't have them so shes actaully more focused on catching u stealing her shit. id be worried about the girl . ur lucky if u have her living there, hell i can't even get a girl to come over:(. hugs not drugs... i guess..
