Another crazy question

Hi, Me again,
Does anyone know about Kava kava or if that does anything? I heard if you take alot, you can get a good buzz or euphoria or something from it. Just wondering.

I took kava kava, Bonnie. Didn't do a damn thing for me. Actually made me a little weird. No buzz or anything though.

Maybe someone else had a different experience. I took it like for nerves/tension. I took L-phenylalanine, and that stuff is good for mood, and stuff. It's an amino acid. I felt like I was going to crack somebody in the head. Made me aggressive. Herbs can be dangerous too if taken without checking up on them.

Back in 1999, pretty much the entire year, I was taking 50 kava kava capsules (I think they were 50mg of the extract each - "Nature's Resource" brand) every damn night. I was trying to stay off of opiates, alcohol and the like. If you take like 20 capsules of the stuff I just made reference to in the preceding sentence, on an EMPTY STOMACH, you'll get incredibly high, for about 40 minutes, after which time you will either want to pass out or vomit or both. If you eat some food with fat in it about 20 minutes after you take the capsules, it'll kick in more.

I took that stuff for about a year, every night after work, until I got tired of it. I can't even smell kava kava without feeling nauseated now. Never touch the stuff anymore. It makes me sick to even think about it.
