Mscontin takes a while to hit

Day 3 of being on MS contin and Im realizing that it takes like a good 2-3 hours for it really kick in.

This morning i chewed and swallowed 3 30mg pills and i didn't really get high till about 2 hours later . I don't mind this though. This morning i had such a nice high but....

This after noon, about 2 and half hours ago i chewed and swallowed 5 30mg ms and now i feel like crap. I did fall asleep for 10 minutes and i felt worse after i slept on this dose, i feel like i am gonna hurl for some reason. I think maybe it will take another hour for it to really kick in good. I had planned on waiting till it kicked in and than doing some house work but i can't clean when i feel shitty like this so I'm just gonna lay down till i feel better. I have one of those nasty opiate-headaches, yuck. That is probably from falling asleep while it was kicking in. I NEVER sleep on while high, nor do i want to. For some reason i dozed off watching TV.

It's like a hit or miss with these MS contins, meaning sometimes i feel great from it and other times i feel nasty like now or i get a mild high.

I wonder why that is?

I still can't decide if i like these pills or not lol.

I wish i had some Tramadol right now. I am all out, i have 3 in my purse and 5 at the pharamacy (They didn't have enough to fill my 240) so i had 5 left over, but 8 tramadol won't do nothing for me, it has to be 10 pills for me to get off, so i'm not even bothering with picking up those 5 now. Maybe next week i will. I can't get my refill of 240 till around the 10th i think but I'm ording 180 on line around the 3rd. I order 180 on line every month with my check, those are gone in about 6 days lol. So i get 240 a month and the 180. And now i have these Ms contins but right now I'd kill for a Trmadol high, i love my Tramadols :(, i love all oppies but for some reason Tramadol gets me off but in a different way, hard to explain. I'ts like a meth-high for me.

I do like the high from MS contins but not the crappy feeling i have now.

Ugh, maybe if i lay down for a bit it I'll feel better. Hopefully it kicks in better soon.

Anyway, I'm blabbing on and on about really nothing right now so talk to you laters. This psot was pointless. I really was jsut wondering why MS contins take a while to kick in. I hear the Oxy's kick in a lot faster but i know my doc would never give me those. I even over heard him saying to another patient "I don't prescrive Oxycontin because there is more abuse potential than Ms Contin" Not sure about that LOL

I was wondering when you were gonna notice i was back. HEY THERE!!!
I explained why i was gone in a few other posts but basicly i just got involved in some other things in my life blah blah. But, i felt so bad because when i came back a few days ago i had no idea how many people missed me and were worried about me when i disapeared. It warmed my heart that so many people cared. I saw the MIA in posts from after i left and i am really touched that people cared. You even asked about me a few times. Thank you for your concern.

From what i cant ell most people thought i left because i had a seizure from Tramadol or overdosed because i take such large amounts lol. But no, that wasn't the case thankfully.

Well... this time i ain't leaving and if i do so i will let everyone know rather than just vanish.

I actually did try to come on here and let everyone know i was ok but it kept saying my account was gone so i gave up. Turned out i was using the wrong password and username.

Anywya, I'm back now.

Actually, now that you mention it, I do notice that they take a bit to kick in. Though, if at the proper dose, its nice nice nice :)

Are they the 50mg IR kinda pills? Ms Contin's are all extended release. GoR should break the time release on them to get them to kick in.

The MSIR's (morphine sulfate immediate release) are only manufactured in 15 and 30mg and are meant for IV or IM.

Morphine has very low bio-availability, but couple that with time relase mechanism and yeah ... they're going to kick in pretty slow and you're not going to notice it too great.

Break the time release. Once you do it one time with one pill to see how (easily) it's done, you can just do all the pills at once and store what you have left over. All it consists of basically is putting a crushed pill in 1.5 tablespoons of water that you brought to a boil with a lighter. Then add 1 tablespoon of room temp water to the mix, heat that a bit with the lighter but don't boil. The wax will gel up, and the morphine is left in the water. Remove the wax with a needle of some sort. Now you just drink the water that's left and you have instant release, fast hitting morphine instead of slow ass, time released morphine that isn't going to hit you at all.

Do it will all your pills at one time, once a month and store it in your fridge. Then when you want a pill, take a shotglass of water. You could evap the water further if you wanted. That's not the best description, so if you want a good one read the links I left in your other thread and contact insaineike he's a good guy and he'll help you out.

Good rewards come to those willing to put a min or two of work into getting high.

No they're the 30 mg Morphine extended release.

I'm noticing the morning dose always gets me higher than my afternoon dose. Last night i got sick from my second dose and slept the whole day lol.

I did try all that but i kept having problems with the wax in the spoon it wouldn't seperate and i couldn't draw it up. I'll give it another try tomorrow when my grams isn't home.

This morning i just crushed up 4 pills really good and swallowed them and it's kicking in very nicely i must say. Nice nice nice.

The real test is my afternoon dose, i really don't want to get sick like i did yesterday, that was nasty. I did get a bit high but i neded up sleeping the whole evening. That may have been because the three nights before i couldnt' sleep so maybe my body was just playing catch up.

This morning i feel nice and high and refresh so i wanna get some cleaning done and cage cleaning done.

Gecko's are totally cool. I love exotics.

I currently just have rats and a cat. But, I've had a cockatiel, her name was Lilly and she unexpectidly and tragicly died about a year and half ago. The stink of it was it was my fault. I fell asleep and somehow she found her way to the bathroom and drowned in the toilet. I let her free range with the rats and other animals at the time. I never dreamed she'd get into the toilet. You can imagine my grief and guilt after she died. I laid in bed for a week depressed and crying. I have to live with that guilt the rest of my life. I'm a responsible pet owner, always have been but animals are like kids ya gotta watch them every second. It was just a bad accident ya know. She was so beautiful and majestic.

I've also had Mice and hamsters among other creatures.

I do have the mentality, I've plugged Hydro's before lol. Ew, i hate Hydro's now, for some reason just looking at them turns my stumach. But sometimes i have them on hand for w/d. but i hate em' now.

So sure, I'd give pluggin Ms contins a try. but for now I'll stick to crushing them up real good and swallowing em'.
